"Marc did a fantastic job for us! We had two properties, a rental house in University City and a condo in Clayton and both had ugly and old tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. Marc was helpful and professional in seeing the projects right away, giving us written bids and helping us select the colors. He and his workers did a great job protecting the cabinets and walls and worked quickly and efficiently. Plus they were able to squeeze us into their schedule. The baths and kitchen look brand new! We also had the tile floors in the three bathrooms sprayed and our designer thought we had laid new tile!"

"They could have completed the job completely. They took pieces of it apart but they did not put those back together. I had the son of the maintenance guy put them back together. I'm just complaining about the completion of the whole job but the quality, workmanship, and everything were fine."

"Mr. Hoover came to measure, brought back a sample of the material that he recommended so that we could see what the finished product would look like.  He gave us an estimate which was lower than the other estimate we received.  I was concerned that the framing which was available would not fit the style of our home. He said that the framing would not show from the inside if he worked from the outside on a ladder installing the new screens from the outside.   He built the frames for the new screens at our home.  He worked on a ladder outside and did all the work from the outside so that the framing did not show from the inside.  I am very happy with his work.  He cleaned the work area and hauled away all the old screens.  I have already hired him for another project.

I also told my neighbor about him.  She hired him to fix some doors that were leaking.  She was extremely happy with him as well and said she would definitely hire him again.

"Discouraged in my search for someone to remodel my bathroom, I stopped by the Re-bath facility in Fenton to ask questions. Angie met me at the door and was very pleasant while she explained the process and the product - no high pressure at all. Impressed by what I saw and heard, I scheduled an appointment for an in-home estimate. Linda was my design consultant. She showed up on time and brought all of her samples with her. We had a great time picking out my products (shower/bath, vanity, countertop, flooring, hardware). Linda had fantastic ideas for my space, and measured accurately. A few days later my product was ordered and approximately 4 to 6 weeks later Angie called with an install date. Brendan was my installer. He showed up on time, was very friendly, organized, detailed and neat. He completed the project in 2 1/2 days. He explained the process as he went and made sure I understood how to properly care for my product. He also communicated very well the timeframe of the process as he proceeded. The finished product exceeded my expectations and as a result, I scheduled an appointment with Linda for my second bathroom remodel. Linda did a great job of coordinating the two bathrooms. We selected the same products, but with a variation of colors. Again, Brendan was my installer and did an amazing job. And mind you he had to carry my product up three flights of stairs! If you are considering a bathroom remodel, I encourage you to consider Re-bath. They are professionals that are comparably priced and offer long-term warranties."

"The results are great. Any issues that came up were addressed when things were pointed out. If I had to do it again, however, I would just hire someone else to handle the plumbing side of things. Other then that detail, Dennis and his crew were very helpful and wanted to make sure things were completed to my satisfaction. My kitchen remodel required taking down a wall, installing new cabinets, new flooring, new toilet and sink. I attached a couple of before and after pics of kitchen."

"

We could not be happier with the service and installation of all of the services listed above.  We had a family reunion in October 2014 and Wade and his team made our home look spectacular for our event.  We are still so pleased with the job. The weed barrier is incredible.  We have not had to weed any of our areas that he installed the barrier on.  What a treat!!  We would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done on their home.  We are going to have him install a stamped concrete driveway this spring.  We can't wait to see it and how it transforms the look of our house.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, plumber's putty ensures a solid bond between the drain assembly and sink. Silicone is a good alternative if you prefer not to use plumber's putty. However, plumber's putty typically isn't visible from the outside of the drain, as you can wipe away any excess when done.

The best material to use will depend on your budget and style goals. Fireclay is a great choice but is expensive and heavy. Stainless steel is less expensive and more durable, but lacks the wow factor a clay sink might. Copper is very expensive but lasts a long time and has a striking appearance. Those looking for an industrial look can go with concrete, or those looking for a classic design might choose porcelain.

Yes, drain stoppers do come out. In some cases, you can twist them counterclockwise to remove them. You can lift some drain stoppers halfway to the raised position and unscrew them. For others, you will need to lift the drain stopper to the raised position and unscrew the stopper from the stem underneath the top of the stopper.

The best option is to alter the plumbing. Moving and centering the drain pipe behind the sink usually does the trick and creates the sleek, minimalist look that pedestal sinks offer. If you don’t want to do any plumbing work, there are a few decorating hacks:

  • Painting the pipes

  • Placing shelves, plants, or baskets in front of the pipes

  • Adding a sink skirt

Local plumbing codes and manufacturer recommendations typically dictate the minimum distance between a sink and a dishwasher. This is generally 18 to 24 inches, providing enough room for easy loading and unloading of dishes without hindering the sink's function. Maintaining this separation not only adds convenience but also reduces the chances of water damage and optimizes plumbing connections.
