"We have used Roberto Torres and his company for about 4 years now. Aside from awesome weekly landscaping (grass, edging, weeds, trees & bushes), he has also changed out our flower beds and front landscaping and last year removed a dog run and old shrubs and put pavers down to expand my patio. Always prompt, always fair, always high quality work. If you need a reliable service, don’t scroll further. This is the company to use!!"

"Jesse came to give us a quote on Friday night, and showed up the following Monday bright and early to do the work.  He said all of the work would be completed within 3 days. Sure enough by Wednesday afternoon everything was finished.  His communication during this time was fantastic.   He was very good about returning phone calls and texts while he worked on this project.  We had several areas in both our back and front yards needing attention.  He removed 2 small trees, about a dozen large, overgrown, dead bushes, and used a stump grinder to permanently remove the stumps.  He noticed that we had several hostas that could be divided and placed in better locations around our yard.  The largest project was probably doing the edging trim around our patio flower bed and side of the house.  He even redid a few of the curves and angles after we got home the first night and decided we wanted to change a couple of things.  Jesse picked out all of the edging brick for us, and the colors coordinate perfectly with the patio and house colors.  This main flower bed also needed all new gravel (which he helped us pick), an abundance of weeds picked, new weed guard put down, more bushes trimmed, and divided some of the hostas into this large area.  In an empty space, he also created a path from our patio that was incorporated into the large bed.  Basically there is just too much work to list.   Jesse and his awesome crew took our backyard jungle that kept us inside, to a beautifully landscaped garden that we can't wait to share with our friends.  We HIGHLY recommend Jesse for landscaping projects.  We will definitely contact him again for future projects.

"Gibran and company were really wonderful and flexible with my plans for a backyard patio. The quality of the work looks good, the lines are crisp and the California style finish matches the walkway I already had. Happy to enjoy being at home in my new patio during this pandemic and I recommend 5-star and would hire them again."

Patios questions, answered by experts

A sunroom will add more value to your home than a deck, but with a much higher up-front cost. Depending on its construction and function, a sunroom may be counted as additional living space, while a deck is strictly an outdoor feature. Both will increase your home’s value, but the sunroom will have a much bigger effect.

Yes, but ensuring the deck has a solid foundation with adequate footings is critical before building, as the weight of a sunroom will put significant pressure on the structure below. Even if your deck is properly constructed, it may not be able to handle the extra weight. While some basic, lightweight, prefabricated sunrooms can sit on a deck with a strong existing foundation without additional supports, in many cases, the foundation and joists will need reinforcement. It is always best to have a structural engineer perform an inspection to evaluate the deck's quality and structural integrity. A professional can help you decide if reinforcement is sufficient or if it's better to tear down the deck and start over.

Yes, porches require foundations. The type of foundation required, however, is determined by the type and use of the porch. For example, a screened-in porch won’t require a new cement foundation. However, if you turn your porch into a sunroom or plan on making it a living space, then chances are you need a foundation that’s more permanent than piers and posts.

A sunroom offers an additional indoor space to rest, dine, or host guests, all while inviting in as much sun as possible. Either built like an enclosed porch or a fully insulated home extension, a sunroom features floor-to-ceiling windows or screens that create an open, bright design while still remaining protected from the elements and bugs.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.
