"Dimitri did a very good job on our hallway. He managed to paint a very tight corner without getting any grey paint on our newly installed white trim. He has a very steady hand with the brush. The grey paint did bleed through the tape onto the baseboard trim in a couple locations but he made certain to repaint the trim and not just leave it up to us to fix. "Vendor arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and said I needed a new ceiling fan. He called Choice, We waited approximately 10 minutes for a call back and an approval to replace the ceiling fan. He went out the truck and brought in a new fan and mounted it. I did have the option of going out to buy a specific make and model vs their replacement one and then he would mount it if I desired. Great service, I am glad I switched to Choice when my last warranty came up for renewal."

"We bought a house and the basement was our highest priority. We would entertain down there a lot so having an unfinished basement at 6' (even lower where the support beam was) was going to be very bothersome. We knew that we would lose more height once we finished it so I called Brian Flanagan to come out.  His head almost touched the ceiling when he came over! He gave us estimates for 12", 18" and 24" because we were undecided on how low to go. Based on our budget, we chose to lower the ground 18". We had talked about getting a permit so Brian got an engineer to draw up plans and they got it for us.
They demoed the existing ceiling and walls and removed it for us. They installed waterproofing (drain tile, sump pump) so that we wouldn't have any water leaks in the future. He also installed overhead plumbing for us so that we wouldn't have to worry about flooding. We told Brian that we wanted to add a bathroom in the basement later so he even had them leave plumbing in place for that. 
There was 5 columns that held up the support beams and Brian was able to eliminate 2 of them by replacing one of our wooden beams with a new steel beam. He also replaced the remaining wooden columns with steel columns. After the ground was dug out, they poured the cement in just a day! We also hired them to build stairs for us.
Brian is really accommodating and just an awesome guy. We got so many estimates but Brian and his company had the most reviews on Angieslist AND they were the cheapest. GREAT find!"

"While they got the job done eventually and their customer services and techs were sweet, the company needs to be MUCH more crystal clear and upfront about a few things before they eagerly take payment. 1. This is not a company for novice clients as they only do work remotely and expect you to have all hardware properly installed before hand. So perhaps they should only sign up for software issues with clients like me who are hardware dummies. I had to struggle on my own for hours buying and trying to figure out where to plug items (again I am basically an old lady technophobe as they say). 2. They also don't make it clear that you are not scheduling an appt in the traditional sense but rather scheduling a position in a phone queue at say a time like 7 pm eastern. So you end up sitting by the phone at 7 pm for 45 minutes waiting for them to call (since apparently you are 10th in the queue). All this is fine, but it should be the first few things you bring up when someone works with you esp for 137 an hour as there are other local companies one can work with if they seek non remote service. In short, your people are great and sweet, but the upfront disclosure is lacking."
