They also cut down two large dead trees and grounded the stumps down below ground level with chips pulsed on top. For example, if you use thin filters (1 to 2 inches in depth), you may need to swap them out every month or two. If you smoke inside or often keep your windows open, aim to replace the filters once per month.

While caulking is handy for quite a bit of jobs, it’s still limited. Any crack or gap larger than 1/4 inch is best left for a more intensive repair job. When you hire house painters, they should run a thorough check to see what they need to repair before they start the job.

Large repairs that caulking typically won’t do well with include cracks or holes larger than a 1/4 inch, rotted wood, or metal surfaces, such as garage doors.

You can use a pressure washer to clean the outdoor condenser coils if the dirt buildup is too heavy for a garden hose and sprayer. Use a gentle setting on your pressure washer to avoid damage to the coils and fins. Do not use a pressure washer on indoor evaporator coils.
