I was very worried about my foundation since my sidewalks were tilted in toward the foundation after sinking in from their original position. My foundation is styrofoam, and I was afraid we would gouge the foundation since flashing had been glued to the foundation. Roger Webb was here on the date written on his proposal. I was amazed that the work was completed in 3 days. He removed and hauled away my original sidewalks. He installed french drains to re-route rain water going toward my house. New sidewalks were poured. A deck was removed, and reinstalled on the new sidewalks. Finally, gravel was applied next to the new sidewalks, and all extra gravel was applied to the gravel driveway. RW Construction is a reliable and talented group. They were friendly, and glad to accommodate all my special requests. I will use them for other projects in the future, and I highly recommend them for a variety of construction projects as they build complete homes from start to finish.

RW construction crew is awesome. Roger contacted me within minutes, he showed up right on time, provided an estimate. The day work was done, he called and again they were here as scheduled, he explained everything in detail to me, They work together to complete the project, like a â  well oiledâ  machine. I will NEVER hesitate to call them again. Roger is someone that does what he says, youâ  ll never meet a nicer guy.

Roger was very helpful at a frustrating time in our lives. Everything was going wrong on the new property. His company came in and cleaned off the land and leveled it after digging to find clay and packing new clay on top, so we could set our new home up. He found the water line, electric line, and sewer line. He replace the water and sewer and set the electric pole up for Ameren to connect to. He was amazing, efficient, and capable. I highly recommend him.

Price a but high. Get what you pay for. These guys are pros.

Roger knew I was in a hurry to get the work done. He wrote up a high offer but was willing to do some extra things I wanted like 1. Building a 4 foot wall, 2. raising the grade of one area, 3. Spreading top soil that I had to order and pay for. He was to put in 2 runs of French Drain Tile to fix drainage problems. He was to put in a 4 foot CONCRETE wall, but he called the next day and said he could not get his concrete person and asked if he could install concrete blocks instead. I agreed. What he brought was small retaining wall bricks which had to be stacked but tapered back. Roger kept saying he did not agree to a 4 foot wall but I showed him his signed agreement. He continued to stack the bricks but the whole wall collapsed. He began to rant about losing money (which I knew was NOT correct). He and one of his workers re-stacked the bricks but did not make a 4 foot wall as he had used the wrong type of bricks. He said that I thought he was trying to cheat me. I told him I expected what he promised. I told him to just leave the remaining retaining bricks and at least get the land how he had promised. He did that. His materials consisted of a couple of pallets of bricks at approx $700 per pallet, 1 100 foot roll of 4 French drain at approx $50-$75. 10-20 bags of sand at approx. $100. 10-15 tubes of adhesive used between the bricks. $100. Small amount of gravel. At the most 2 ton at approx $50. His materials AT THE MOST would have been approx $2400 for regular prices. As a contractor, I would think he would get about 20% off that price. So that would mean his cost of materials would be less than $2000. He charged OVER 3 times that. He compained that he was losing money on the project because he had to rebuild the wall, but yet he had 2 workers waiting for him for over an hour earlier. I consider what happened as a **bait and switch**. He promised one thing, but delivered something else. I had been willing to pay the higher amount because I thought I would be getting a 4 foot wall, but I did not get that. I would not recommend this contractor at all. I found him on Angis site, but he turned out to be not how he was recommended.

Roger was prompt, friendly, understood our needs. He left our yard in a better state than it started, above expectations. Looking forward to having him back in the spring for other tasks.

Roger (RW Construction) and his guys were so professional and courteous. They completed excavating and demolition on our structure/garage in a timely manner and they did quality work. Our land looks leveled and beautiful!!! RW Construction was always available to answer questions and address concerns from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company.
