"Vasile is the best. Dedicated, hard-working, great at communicating, and honest. He's a master at his craft and we couldn't be happier with the results of his work. He and his team removed carpet from the upstairs of our home and refinished the original maple hardwood floors. They ran into a couple of challenges along the way, one example being large missing sections in each room where the original floor vents had been which they replaced with old maple that blends seamlessly. They handled everything with great care and attention to detail and the floors look amazing now. We are so thankful we found Vasile and cannot recommend him highly enough. He really cares about his craft and takes the time to get it right. He also seems like a really kind person, good-humored and pleasant to work with. His assistant Ed was great too."

"Excellently. The masons made quick work of the demo up front, taking a day to remove the parapet and half a day to get the chimneys down. The rebuild was more deliberate, getting the colors right, making sure the new common brick was plumb and the decorative brick looked perfect. Once the parapet was up, the roofing crew came in and flashed the new masonry tightly, applying reflective paint and patches to wick the water away from the brick. The roof was applied over the top brick with a slight overhang that later gets hidden by the drip tray. The capstones came back particularly beautifully. The cleanup was very effective, having red mortar meant it took a bit more detail to get it right, but they did it. The work is strong and looks good."

He does light electrical, plumbing and carpentry such as changing light fixtures, switches outlets and troubleshooting electrical issues. He installs faucets and repairs toilets as well as working on problem doors and locks. As a former teacher, auto mechanic and bicycle mechanic he will provide lessons on woodworking & drafting and bicycle repair. Effective January 1, 2016 the hourly rate is $90//hour. An "Out of service area fee" of $45 will be charged for locations requiring a half hour or more of travel one way. Please feel free to ask for additional information.
