Lastly, know your rights to request a Sworn Statement (A document that lists the contractors and suppliers that provide material or labor to a construction project. It includes information about who is owed money, how much they are owed, and the remaining balance on their contract.) Consider a contractor that will not turn an ear to hearing difficult concerns and will, instead, choose to address things head on in a professional manner versus have to fight to be heard."
