"The square footage in our appraisal was significantly incorrect, and when I pointed it out, backed it up with evidence. the only change made was swapping out one comp ? with no explanation for how nearly 400 sq ft of over-reported space would not reduce the value. I explained he could come remeasure and that was ignored. I even provided better comps at the appraiser?s request, but those were ignored as well. My final email addressing the valuation issues was never acknowledged. It has now been nearly a week with no response. This cost me time and money, and then we had to hire a second appraiser to correct the mistakes. Truly a frustrating and unprofessional experience to work with this appraiser."
