"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

"We can't say enough good things about Chuck and his crew! We had a total kitchen remodel done that involved tearing down walls and installing new support beams in the attic. Everything from electrical to drywall, to installing new cabinets. From start to finish Chuck was easy to work with. Phone calls were always returned. The work was done in the time frame that was quoted. Every effort was made to contain the "construction dust" and the work area was cleaned and vacuumed before they left for the day. I wish we were able to post photos to show you what an excellent job they did. If you are looking for a contractor that is honest, experienced and a pleasure to work with then Milliman & Sons Builders is who you need to call. "I contacted World Painting after CertaPro dropped out of sight.  We quickly got an appointment with them and they were ready to give us a bid that day.  The price was reasonable and it included power washing, caulking, and painting our porch floor along with the entire house.
They were able to start within the week and kept us updated through out the project, letting us know what was the next step and when it would be completed.  Customer service was excellent.  When I had a question they called me back within the hour. 
They did an amazing job and we have gotten tons of compliments on it.  We would definitely use them again.

"John (owner of JMJ builders) and his team were prompt, cheerful & courteous. They kept the place very clean everyday since they started the work on Nov 25, 2012. They kept the same tempo and pace through Dec 26, 212. John is very customer focused and honest in letting us know what is possible and what is not possible given the time and money constraints. He was more of a guide in addition to being a general contractor. Hats off to his cheerful and positive attitude. His team members are very experienced and they did not require any follow up on what needed to be done once we made things clear for them. Overall, John and his team kept their word to hand over the place for us on the day they agreed to on Nov 25, 2012. Our family is very impressed with their work culture and professionalism. "When you purchase this service you are asked to send pictures of the room,  and a layout drawing  with the dimensions in inches.  I sent pictures from every angle in the room.  My layout drawing was rough, but I made sure that the dimensions were correct.  It is important to show doors, and width from door to wall, windows and spaces between window and wall, etc.

Explain how you invision the room and what you would like to keep in the room. You should let her know what you like and dislike as far as fabrics, colors, and style of furniture.  I hate paisley, but failed to include this in the information that I sent to the designer.  So there was some paisley in my concept board. I told her what I liked, but failed to tell her what I disliked and would not want to see in the room.

Once I sent pictures, dimensions, and room layout I received 2  suggested layouts for the room from Jill.  I selected the layout that I preferred.  You they receive a concept board for the room with  her suggested furnishings and fabrics. To my surprise she also gives alternatives to what she suggests.  Her suggestions are in various price ranges so that you can choose within your budget.
