We moved here in October and he put in the system in November. The initial expense was substantially more than the monthly service because we had to buy the equipment. Tech support is provided which makes installation easy and very user friendly. The system is monitored and response to alarm signal is quick and nearly immediate. I've had a couple different systems in my homes over the years which were "professionally" installed; one was wired the other wireless.
