Jeff guided us through the inevitable ebbs and flows, from variances and permits to tear down and construction. When we hit a couple challenges, Jeff helped us navigate the issues and keep the job on track. We were...and are...impressed with the quality of our new garage and the professionalism of Jeff and the entire Coach House Garage team. "Nick and his team came right away to install a new Pad next to my garage . They were professional, courteous and quick. Timing was a big issue since they did htis in November of 22 and the weather was starting to not cooperate. In April 23, Nick and his team did the back fill and it looks very nice. "David gave me what I thought was a fair price for the work to be done. He asked for 1/2 up front. As a previous small business owner I did not feel this was unreasonable so I paid him 500.00. He estimated the work would take 3 to four days and I thought the same. After several no shows the "mason" showed up. The first clue was he came in a car. According to my wife he was here 2 hours and left, came back for another 2 hours the next day and left again. He said nothing to my wife about leaving or when he would be back. David called a day later to ask about coming out to look over the job and get the rest of the other 500.00. I said he isn't finished and he's only been here 4 hours. So then I looked up the prevailing wage in IL for a mason and found out it is 28.50 an hour. The next day the guy comes back for another 3 hours. David came to look at the work and I walked him around and showed him all of the places that had not been done. So the guy comes back again for about an hour. All told it was 8 hours work, nothing to write home about but it was agreed up front that I wasn't looking for an exposed brick look. I need it tuck pointed well enough so that I could drylock and paint the exposed brick. I will say this was done in the end. The worker left a mess that I and my wife had to clean up, I pointed this out to David as well. I told him I felt he was overly paid for the amount of work preformed and that was the end of it. It's really to bad. It's difficult to get contractors to do small jobs and I had plenty for him to do. I'm not unhappy, just would not hire again"

"Brian and his crew returned to my building on a warranty followup- their previous work done wonders for my flooding problems, but my foundation walls are apparently made of swiss cheese and there was one small seepage problem remaining which only shows up during a "100 year rain event".  Brian indicated that they go for 100%, not 99% and scheduled time to come back out to my building to address the issue under the warranty (a.k.a. free of charge) from the original work.  They came back out, dug up the foundation again, and found a crack hidden behind an old hasty concrete patching job that had been tarred over, which was determined to be causing the remaining seepage.  They repaired the crack and were done with the whole task in only hours.  I am a repeat customer, and can't say enough good things about Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing solutions, they are friendly, helpful, and most of all, stand behind their work!

"I would recommend Matt to renovate any project needed. He remodeled my main bathroom and added a half bathroom and both turned out great! He also replaced my garage door and painted my front and back patio."

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"Not blown away. I provided a good deal of information up-front:  floorplans from my builder, exact measurements of room, my design preferences - including several stores I like to shop at to give her an idea of my style. After I had provided all of this, Jill said she'd have my designs to me in about 4 weeks. I did not receive them for at least 8-10 weeks, and that was after several emails to her requesting status of the project. If I wouldn't have prodded I'm not sure how long (if ever) I would have received what was promised. When I did receive my designs, they were floorplans, which was as expected.  Along with a page or two of copy-and-pasted pictures of a few possible furniture selection. Which was much less than I expected. Based on the description I expected boards, with color selections, upholstery, etc. This was a big disappointment, especially after waiting 2-3 times longer than she had told me it would take."
