Boyfriend Inna Box is a construction company that is focused on the needs of the customer. We started as a handyman service with women in mind that owned property. Soon, the company grew to become a licensed and insured construction company. With over 25 years of experience, Boyfriend Inna Box still has its original customers in mind but with expanded services. Finally, Boyfriend Inna Box offers free services to the elderly as a community project.

"I wanted to share an important cautionary note regarding a recent experience I had with this contractor. Unfortunately, the work performed by this business did not meet our expectations or standards. Here are the key issues we encountered: Inadequate Tiling: The tiles placed on the walls were not flush in numerous areas, leading to an uneven and unprofessional finish. Floor Tile Gaps: There were noticeable gaps in the placement of tiles on the floor, which can pose a tripping hazard and detract from the overall appearance. Poor Drywall Installation: The drywall was not installed properly, with significant misalignment. Visible Tape Through Paint: The tape used in the walls showed through the paint, creating an unsightly finish. Due to these issues, I had to terminate the contractor's services before the project was completed. It became clear that the scope of work required was beyond their capabilities. I requested ma partial refund of the money paid for the project, but my request was denied. As a result, I had to purchase all new materials to complete the project."

Energy Efficiency Auditing questions, answered by experts

There is no blanket figure for a residential home’s electrical load, since load varies by the size of the home, how many appliances are used, and the efficiency of their electrical systems. Typically, however, it’s safe to assume 40 to 60 amps is the average electrical load of a residential home.

You can increase your home’s load factor by replacing fuse boxes with a circuit breaker, hiring a licensed electrician to upgrade your electrical panel, upgrading wiring, or installing subpanels. An electrical inspection by an expert can help determine the state of your current electrical systems and how they can be improved.

While parts of the appraisal are out of your control, there are some things you can do to potentially raise the home’s value. You can make necessary repairs and upgrades before the appraiser visits—an appraiser can only value what is currently part of the home, not its potential. You can also provide the appraiser with the cost of recent upgrades. The appraiser will likely increase the value of your home by about 50% or more of what you paid for those improvements.

A small sump pump running infrequently uses an average of 10 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per month. The average cost for electricity is $0.171 per kWh. The size and use frequency affect how much electricity it uses. Sump pumps average one-third to one horsepower (hp) motors. One hp is equal to 745.7 watts. Watts multiplied by the time your pump is running divided by 1,000 equals your average kWh. Multiply kWh by your average cost of electricity. In areas with high rain or a marsh basin, the average cost can be as high as $15-$25 a month.

The extra insulation helps reduce energy costs by minimizing drafts and temperature exchange between indoors and outdoors.
