"I walked into my basement on Saturday afternoon to discover a pool of water on the floor. Looking at the walls I traced it back to right above the window that sits below my kitchen sink. I popped the paneling off the top of the window box and immediately saw that the galvanized pipe leading from the sink drain to the stack had corroded and a hole had formed. Frantic because it was 4pm on a Saturday and I knew I couldn't use my kitchen sink or dishwasher until I got this fixed (no easy task with two toddlers to keep up with), I jumped onto Angie's List looking for a plumber with Saturday hours and a good rating. I called McDonagh and was told they could have someone at my place in an hour. Todd showed up at 5:30 and immediately got to work. Patrick (the owner) showed up with his son Nolan shortly thereafter to take a look and get Todd some parts off of his truck. We gave Nolan a piece of the pizza my kids were having for dinner as an apology for interrupting his Saturday too. Patrick came back with a price estimate that seemed fair to me for emergency short-notice service on a Saturday night. Todd replaced the entire section of pipe from the sink drain to the stack and was finished and out the door by 7:30, leaving us with a fully functional kitchen again. Huge thanks to Patrick and Todd (and Nolan) who really saved the day for us. These guys are absolute professionals and really saved us from some major inconvenience. Would absolutely recommend and use them again. "
"This review is well over due. Now that we have the drain tile system we have not received any flooding The day he began Brian's team came to our house promptly in the morning at 8am. They immediately started jack hammering the floor around the perimeter of the basement. While two men jack hammered on opposite ends the rest of the team followed behind them clearing debris and bringing the large pieces to a truck to be hauled away. They then installed the drain pipe, sump pumps, and poured cement. They were able to compete the project within 8 hours. I was definitely impressed! Now that it is a year later with 3 seasons behind us we cannot complain about his installation of the drainage system. Furthermore, one year later he still provided us with exceptional customer service. Oddly enough our pipes connected to our sump pump that takes the water from the drain tile to the backyard became detached. He responded asap with putting the detached pipes from the sump pump back together and making sure what happened will not happen again. What I liked about him in comparison to the other companies was his approach. No sales techniques, nothing gimmicky just genuine and straight shooter type of guy. He believes in his service, no thrills and whistles to the product. Just common sense solutions with quality service. It's your house your investment. Call this guy, no "BS" to it. "They are excellent. I am a truck driver and not home very much. I needed my pipes winterized so they wouldn't freeze. The antifreeze is non-toxic. They drained my hot water heaters, put the antifreeze in. He turned off the water and made sure that it was winterized. I could turn the heat off. I thought it was high until, I realized they used two cases of antifreeze, and it is expensive. They were professional, courteous, and no issues. The price was good. I have no complaints with anything they did. I had to make an appointment, because they are busy. It took a while for them to come out on time and they showed up on time. Everything was good. They provided a good quality service at a reasonable price."

I could not even tell they had been here....there were no leaves left on the sidewalks or any other signs. I could see the limb had been pruned and water at the end of my long drain.
