With 15 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic I have seen first hand the importance of working Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors. This gave me the idea of providing a service to help members in my community by maintaining and replacing detectors. We also offer inspection and cleaning of dryer vents to prevent dryer fires. NFPA reports an average of 15,970 dryer fires per year with many of them related to dirty or blocked venting systems. Our mission is to keep people safe and educate the importance of fire safety and prevention.

"Just wanted to say how impressed I was with Donovan and Matt from Just In Time HVAC company. They came to my house to look at my water heater. Within a minute they diagnosed my problem, then they explained different options that would fit my needs and my budget. They made it very easy, and after they explained the ease of it, I went for a tankless water heater. They set up an appointment, relit my pilot light, and even noticed that I was having trouble with my furnace exhaust pipe, as it was nearly had no rise to it, which he explained could cause carbon monoxide issues. He brought new pipe when he came to do the main job, which I might add they fixed as part of the overall job for free! Donovan was always looking to make sure his new work and my existing work would be safe and efficient. He noticed my intake gas pipe was only hand tight, he fixed that. He was always working, spotting, and figuring out what was the best for each spot, while Matt used his youth and strength to effortlessly lift everything up and down from the truck to my basement and back. Overall an amazing job, with a price point over a thousand dollars less than other quotes. If you have a heating or air issue, I would highly recommend you call JustInTime first and have them out. Depending on how much you use it, your dryer should be disinfected about every six to 12 months, especially if you see frequent buildup of lint or evidence of stains from fabric bleeding or ink.

The ideal time for dryer vent cleaning is typically during the spring or fall. These seasons offer moderate weather conditions, making it easier to access the exterior vent and work on the dryer without the extreme heat of summer or cold of winter. However, the timing can also depend on your usage patterns. If you use your dryer heavily year-round, consider scheduling cleanings more frequently, perhaps every six months, to prevent lint buildup and reduce fire risks. Ultimately, there is no wrong time of year to prioritize safety.
