"There was a recent all day high wind storm in our area. It partially ripped off a piece of our outside metal trim. We have a small Cape Cod with a high roof. The metal strip of trim kept swinging close to our upstairs new bedroom window .It was making a loud continual scrapping noise. against the house. My husband said he would repair the damage the next day , after the wind storm was over. . He is in his late 60â s and I became worried that he might fall off the high ladder in the process. Friends had told me about sad stories of people that had fallen off high ladders, and broken both hips, legs, arms, and worse , lost their lives. I was becoming anxious . Home Depot kindly connected me with home advisor, which kindly gave me 3 phone numbers of highly recommended Handy Men . near me. . I happen to call David Anderson name first. It was almost 9pm and actually too late to call anyone, but I was in panic mode , so I tried anyway, expecting to just leave a voicemail . David answered the phone call. He had a calm and kind voice . I sent him a photo of the damage and asked him if he would repair it . He said he would repair it tomorrow and that it wouldnâ t cost several hundred dollars. I was so thankful! David arrived the next afternoon , and repaired it for only $90.00 , but my husband gave him a $100.00. David repaired the trim and bent it back into place . It was hardly noticeable that it was bent! Thank you David! ! My husband and I are very impressed with him! . We highly recommend his work! He is courteous , hard working , and competent Handy Man ! It is hard to find someone like that these days.. We will definitely be using his services in the future !!!"
