"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"I called around to make a few inquiries. I couldn't recommend this place enough if I tried. I got a quote for repair from another company, which misdiagnosed the issue. Ken came out to inspect the unit and found that the motor wasn't bad; it had just seized. He was able to oil it and break it free from last winter's bondage. Even if it only lasted another season, it was well worth a second look from a trained observer like Ken. The cost for repair?... a service call. This is a company that is ethical, which means even though my unit is already at end-of-life, I'll be calling Ken at Air Exchange first when it's time for a whole new system! Thank you, Ken! If you’re using your pellet stove as an exclusive heat source during the winter, you’ll need an estimated 100 to 150 of those 40-pound bags, depending on how hot you like to keep your home, its size, the climate, and other factors.

Maintain smoke alarms, ensure safe electrical and cooking practices, and regularly clean chimneys to minimize fire or smoke hazards.

To burn garden waste, you can use a dug-out burn pit lined with stone or brick, a burn barrel, or a garden incinerator. If using a burn barrel, make sure it's made entirely of metal and properly equipped with screened vents and a metal top screen. Garden incinerators are designed for waste burning and should be operated according to the manufacturer's instructions.
