"Ricardo cleaned our ducts today. He was prompt, professional and friendly. Very careful and meticulous. Iâ  m going to assume he did a great job because he knew what rooms were the worst, as we suspected. He also recovered the tape measure I dropped that bounced into and down a vent. And itâ  s a relief getting the dryer done."

AireServ is wonderful and I would recommend them to everyone.  They are concerned, prompt and went over the top in figuring out what was wrong with our furnace.

The main issue with the furnace was hard to diagnosis.  Also, the furnace was in need of the basic cleaning before the other  issues could be dealt with.  This resulted in the technician coming to our home a total of three times.  We were only charged with one service call even though the whole process took about five months (due to warm summer and early fall months) to be completely resolve.
I am very grateful to finally get the old beast running like a champ.
Thank you AireServ.

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Dryers pull in air from a circular opening in the back of the dryer. The dryer's heating element heats the air, and a blower fan circulates the hot air through the drum. The hot air travels outside the dryer through a vent or is cooled by a heat exchanger that condenses the steam into water and sends it down a drainpipe or to a containment compartment.

You can install a washer and dryer in most places throughout your house, provided you have the proper plumbing lines and electrical outlets needed. You’ll also need enough space to install ventilation for the dryer, which can limit where you install the washer and dryer. Common places to install a washer and dryer in a house include a dedicated laundry room, the basement, a bathroom, a hall closet, or even a kitchen. Keep in mind: It will cost a lot more money to install a washer or dryer in a space that is not currently designed to support these appliances.

Call 911 immediately. If you have a fire extinguisher or fire blanket near the laundry room, you can attempt to extinguish the fire, but don’t open or touch the dryer. If you can’t put the fire out, evacuate yourself, your family, and your pets from the house, closing the laundry room door behind you. Turn off the electricity to your home via the outside fuse box, then wait for the fire department. After a dryer fire, have your home’s electrical system inspected to make sure there isn’t any damage.

If your dryer is wet inside, it could be due to a poorly designed ventilation system. This happens more frequently during the hotter months as heat is trapped inside the vent duct. Broken or failing seams and seals on the vent pipe can also allow warm air to enter. If changing the ventilation is not an option, consider insulating your vent pipes to reduce moisture capturing.

Excessive humidity in a room often manifests through visible signs like condensation on windows or walls, a musty or damp odor lingering in the air, peeling wallpaper or paint, and the presence of mold or mildew. Experiencing discomfort due to a consistently clammy or sticky feeling can also indicate high humidity levels.
