"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"They were awesome. They asked for a 50% deposit to purchase supplies. Within a few days they were at the house and working on the roof. They provided me with pictures of what they found after removing the roofing from the problem area. Ryan asked me to call him at my convenience. When I called he explained each picture to me and what needed to be done to fix the problem. They purchased extra supplies they found they needed (which they did not charge me for). They began work around 10 am and the job was completed around 7 pm. They provided pictures of the completed project as well. Ryan told me he would be back in a few days to verify everything was okay and put down an additional sealant. I felt they were very professional the whole time. The price was reasonable and did not change from quote to final payment. I would definitely use them again and would refer others to use them."

"Marketplace Homes has managed two residential rental properties for me, and everything has always been very easy. They coordinate showings, negotiated rent with tenants, and hired contractors as needed at each property. I would use them for any rental property I have in the future!"

"My first remodel in my home and it went really well. Jon was very accommodating and willing to work within my budget, giving me a couple of different quotes of work they could do. Once the work and budget was decided on, it went very smoothly. Ben did the majority of the work and he was very kind, professional, and open about what tasks were happening that day. I liked that they cleaned as they worked especially since it was a small space and my only bathroom in the house. I would totally recommend them to my friends and family and will be using them again in the near future for upcoming projects."

He explained everything in full detail of the policy; so, that I understood what I would be getting! He answered ALL my questions. His CEO, Theodore Patel, was amazing! I am looking forward to using Choice Home Warranty to help keep my house in good working order, without being taken advantage of by repairmen! "We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to. You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
The most common first signs of foundation issues include:
Cracks in the foundation walls that grow
Signs of moisture or water leaking through cracks in the foundation
Standing water in the basement
Sagging floors or walls
Cracked walls in upper floors
Doors and windows that don’t close properly anymore
Foundation repairs cost about $5,000, on average. Typically, prices range from $2,200 to $7,800, depending on the type and extent of repairs needed. Cost factors include foundation type, home size, soil stability, accessibility, and the ultimate cause of the problem and what methods and materials are required to fix it.
If you’re noticing signs of foundation issues, the first step to fixing a foundation problem is to hire a foundation repair inspector. They will determine the problem, the cause, and the severity before recommending a course of action to repair the foundation. The method for fixing foundation problems depends on the problem and what options are available. A few possible solutions include:
Epoxy injections
Mudjacking
Piers made of steel or concrete
Jacks
Hydraulic piers
Carbon or steel reinforcement strips
Waterproofing materials
