Our family had a great experience with Nate at Wilderness Falls Building involving the very complex job of replacing a deteriorating foundation under our very old house. We had a very limited budget being a single-income family. Nate was able to help us coordinate resources and we had our house lifted and a new foundation put under our house in less than 20 days. Nate prioritized getting us back in our home as quickly as possible and as well as every measure possible to keep us within our budget. We also were able to get some things we werenâ t expecting like new siding and windows on the house which we really appreciated! The house looks like a new one now. I feel extremely fortunate that we were able to work with Nate on this project with such an unusual scope that many other contractors would not take on. Nate and his crew literally saved our home. My wife and I wanted to build a home on our property but didnâ t have the budget to build the main house. Nate worked with us to simultaneously design the off-site improvements to accommodate all future buildings and the first build of a garage with an Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU). The build process became protracted due to financing challenges which required modifications to design and schedule. Nate was very helpful in managing the build in a way that allowed us to complete the permanent financing of the build. We were referred to Nate at Wilderness Falls through a co-worker. We had already met with a couple other builders in the area. We knew this was the builder for us when Nate said, "I want to build YOUR house, not mine". He is knowledgeable about the most up to date building codes and techniques. He was always willing to take the time to go over plans and options with us and explain things. He is easy to talk to and work with which is important since you will be spending many hours with your builder. Thanks to Nate's organization and ability to coordinate everyone, we broke ground in June of 2020 and were moving in mid-October! Pretty impressive for a custom home and a large shop. He was always conscientious of our budget (probably more than we were!) and did his best to help us choose options that made sense in terms of up-front cost AND long-term efficiency. He was always easy to get in touch with and replied quickly...and still is months after move in. We had an issue with the LVP floors not being installed properly and needing completely replaced. Nate coordinated all the repair work, and we were impressed with Nampa Floors and Interior for their integrity. They could have just replaced a couple boards and left us with a problem, but they stepped up and made it right. We are very happy with our house and highly recommend Wilderness Falls!

We have worked with Nate on several projects since 2011, and he's just finished building a second custom home for us. Nate is very motivated and well-organized, such that he was able to build our home in roughly four months, right through the dead of winter in the Idaho mountains during a local construction boom. He is also VERY budget conscious. By carefully selecting sub-contractors and suppliers, and allowing us to do a couple of small projects ourselves, he brought the entire project in several thousand dollars UNDER budget! This includes several free upgrades such as painted exterior hardware and triple-pane windows. I would recommend Nate to anyone looking to build a quality, practical home on a budget, and on-time.

We have a garage/shop that was structurally compromised from a couple bad winters, so they had to do some work on the walls and roof. They were very efficient and were willing to answer all my questions. I was very happy with the quality and cost of the work . I will be recommending them to everyone I can.

In the winter of 2017 our houses roof suffered severe snow load damage. 12 of the 15 trusses were structurally compromised, so it was pretty bad. Nate completely fixed all of the issues and put a quality new roof on. He was also competitively priced compared to other estimates. He actually gave us a fabulous deal, with a quality finished product, so I personally couldn't be happier! I had significant water damage from the previous winter storms. My roof, walls (drywall and exterior) were all damaged. I sincerely appreciated Wilderness Falls for their timely assistance, thoroughness and attention to detail. The repair work was very well coordinated and the finished product was amazing! I'm very pleased with all aspects of this project and highly recommend this company. In fact, I have had them work on other projects on my home as well.

Wilderness Falls Building is a great company to work with. Nate with Wilderness Falls is highly professional and more importantly honest and trustworthy. We chose Wilderness Falls to build our custom home after interviewing others. He just stood out. Nate was very forthcoming with all the information regarding what to expect in building a home. He was very organized and the communication was great through the entire process. We chose to use a private lender during the construction phase. This lender marveled at the fact that he was funding 9 other projects like ours and all others were "months out". The lender was also so impressed with each sub that worked on our project and the fact that it was so organized. We broke ground September 1, 2017 and had the final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy December 22, 2017. Wilderness Falls also chooses only those subs with an excellent reputation and a strong work ethic. These subs were very respectful of property and always pleasant. You will get nothing but the finest work from this company. You will not be surprised with a lot of change orders. You will receive the finest quality at a reasonable rate with honesty and respect. THE BEST BUILDING COMPANY IN OUR AREA!

I would highly recommend Wildress Falls Building Nate and his crews are professional excellent builders. I had a pole barn shop/rv storage building built and I was very impressed with the timely manner which it was done, the scheduling of sub contractors was flawless. Nate is very honest and easy to work with. 5 stars all the way!

Severe snow load crushed our detached garage / shop. Nate assessed the damage and recommended demo / rebuild when I though repair was all we needed. Little did I know about current building codes and what damage the snow had caused. Nate was absolutely correct that demo / rebuild was the best option, and the insurance company agreed. Project was done on time and on budget. Wilderness Falls Building is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this outfit.

He went out of his way to get discounts for my project. Worked things around to get specific features for my building of my log cabin. Havent been happier with a contractor EVER!
