"I do feel awful about the dent that my employee caused on the side of your fridge. As soon as you brought it to my attention I contacted my insurance company immediately to see what they needed from me to start a claim. I gave them the serial Number and they were able to find the exact fridge on Amazon. I let you know what they said and you asked me to not do anything until further notice. So we finished the job and you were very happy with the work ,& even asked me to do more after the holidays. It was Tuesday that we finished the and I didn't hear back from you until Sunday by means of a text asking me to contact you the next day about how to proceed. So the following day we discussed over the phone how you wanted me to take care of the damage. I let you know that I had already talked with my insurance company and that I would pay the $500 deductible and you would get the exact brand new fridge. You said that since the dent was so small & not visible because of the cabinet it slid back into there was no need to file a claim. So we agreed that I would still pay you $500 for the damage. I said that I would have the money to you asap & you said not to worry and get it to you when I had time. The following week was Thanksgiving & I had left to spend it with my family at our cabin. I do not have cell service there, so when you sent me a text asking when I was going to pay you I did not receive it until the sunday after Thanksgiving. The next day I gave you a check for $500 and explained to you that I had been out of town for the holiday & I was not ignoring you. I did send a copy of the check to Home Advisor showing that it had cleared my bank. I can understand your frustration but I did fulfill our agreement."
"I'm sorry you feel like I didn't do a good job. We took every step necessary to protect your grass and put down cardboard shields around the entire fence so we wouldn't get stain on your yard. I never dumped any waste in your yard as I used a 5 gallon bucket to clean my equipment. You said you were more than happy with the job when I left. You did have a couple of things you wanted fixed before we left and I took care of that. If there is anything that you feel isn't 100% on your fence contact me @ 208-841-9090 and I will take care of it."
