I've been painting for 15 in my family owned business out at the Idaho national laboratory. But now I am wanting too do my own thing so I'm use to doing perfect work for the government so I would do the same for you and I can do texture, patch repair of walls, taping , painting, sandblasting, epoxy flooring if it has to do with coating something I can do it so I hope to hear from you. He informed us how everything would work, he worked very fast and was pleasant to chat with, and the finished gazebo looks awesome! (just how I wanted it) I’ve worked with home service guys and contractors in the past and they always seem to be a little rough around the edges but Jared was not this way at all. If rain is in the forecast, check the paint manufacturer's details before laying on a new coat. 

Dirty or not, you should always clean the wall beforehand. Even if the wall looks sparkling clean to the naked eye, it’s good practice to wipe it down with a damp rag and mild detergent. Leftover dirt, dust, and residue can create unsightly textures or interfere with the paint’s adherence to the wall. You’ll never regret cleaning it, but you might regret skipping this step.

You can paint over plaster, but repair any damage to the plaster first, or the paint will crack and bubble. You should also prepare the surface of the plaster to accept paint, which gives your paint job the best chance of looking good and lasting a long time. Before applying the color you want, apply a coat or two of primer. Additionally, use latex paint, and choose a latex paint with a satin finish for areas with dampness, like bathrooms.
