Customers say: True professional

"Larsen Tile was great to work with. The work is beautiful. The job was neat and done as we wanted. Cleaned up after. Also the big plus was he saved us money over what Lowe's was charging us and they also couldn't provide an installer after 2 weeks of phone calls. We talked to Larsen tile and he was there the next morning. Will recommend them to everyone. Our neighbors are jealous of our new tile. Thanks again Jon."

"Steve did a great job putting in subfloor and laying LVP throughout three bedrooms and two bathrooms. He had the experience for removing the plumbing and troubleshooting a little bit there. The project came out looking great. Below are some pictures. I would highly recommend him for the future."

"Pigeon-holing Charlie Siegl as a 'handyman' does a disservice to his expertise, professionalism, and experience. Charlie shows the homeowner the problem, discusses and provides options for a 'fix,' and once agreed on, is efficient, professional, and precise performing repairs. I've used Charlie on two home projects to date and consider him to be in a class by himself--above and beyond others I've hired. I plan on him being my go-to guy going forward. I highly recommend Siegl Construction & Handyman Services."

"3 bathrooms remodeled. All needed a little help. Floors, tile, painting. Work was done perfectly and super fast once all the choices were made. Pricing was fair. Left the property clean and ready for use. Highly recommend."

"Some hiccups occurred that were to be expected in such an old house but Cameron tackled them cheerfully & expertly. He is a hard worker, soft spoken & dedicated to doing a good job. During a remodel you become bonded to the person in your house every day until the project is completed & Cameron is the perfect guy for that…cheerful, easy going & totally unflappable….no matter what the house throws at you."

Honest and skilled. 7 years experience in tile and flooring. I'm an Ironworker. Worked on large commercial projects(high rises, bridges, midrise). I come with variety of certificates (welding,first-aid,signalling,rigging). Lots of classroom hours and training that cross relates into pretty much anything.I currently had to step away from ironwork due to large changes in my personal life. Im capable and willing to do any job big or small.

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Bathrooms are naturally moisture-rich environments, so choose a durable, water-resistant tile for your tub surround. Porcelain and ceramic are two popular options that are also quite affordable. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

Yes, you can use paint if you want to refresh your tile countertops. However, you must be mindful of the type of paint you use. Look for options explicitly created for tile that are also waterproof and durable. Over time, the paint will chip, so this is not considered a long-term solution for busy kitchens.

Your tiles will have a significant visual impact on your bathroom, so you’ll want to make a thoughtful decision. Once you land on the tile material that suits your needs and budget, you can consider the color schemes you want. Consider whether you want something modern, classic, or eye-catching.

Yes, you can install a backsplash directly onto drywall, provided the wall is properly prepped, clean, and dry. For best results, especially in kitchen areas, your walls should be made of moisture-resistant drywall, often called green board. If your current wall isn't moisture-resistant, it's recommended to replace it before installing the backsplash. For even greater protection against water damage, you can remove the existing drywall and install a tile backer board or cement board instead. While properly installed standard drywall is typically strong enough to support a backsplash, some local building codes may require water-resistant materials in kitchen areas, so it's a good idea to check.

Options include clay, concrete, and slate tiles. Each offers unique durability, aesthetics, and costs.
