We disputed the invoice and never heard back until we got another invoice another seven months later seeking double the original amount including monthly interest and an ‘overhead & profit’ fee."

Even with add-ons and additional protective finishes, a chain-link fence is very likely to cost you less than a wood fence. The only exception would be a split rail wood fence, which can cost about half the price of a chain-link fence or less.

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line.
