"They work hard. Did an excellent job removing the tree. Cleaned up the yard and removed the stump in a great way. There wasnâ t anything I had to do after they left. They were really nice people. I would recommend them to anyone that needs tree service."

"I had called around to a few different tree service companies for quotes. I kept getting the run around from a few of them, and I still havenâ t heard back from some. I found E&H Maintenance and Tree Service on Home Advisor. They came out the same day, gave a very reasonable quote, and got started right away. The work they did was outstanding. I would definitely hire them again. HIRE E&H FOR ALL OF YOUR MAINTENANCE AND TREE SERVICE NEEDS... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! -Recommend 10/10"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Palm trees will not regrow from a stump once the tree has been cut down. This type of tree is unique because the root and stump system will slowly decay after the tree is gone, unlike other species that can regrow. That’s why it’s preferable to remove dead or decaying palm tree stumps quickly as they can become an eyesore and don’t offer future growing potential.

You can use a chainsaw, but it won’t remove the entire stump or root ball and is not a recommended method. It takes quite a bit of physical work to achieve and will likely dull or ruin your chainsaw. Instead, consider using salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, stump grinding, or burning to kill a tree stump. These methods allow you to kill a stump using minimal machinery and physical exertion.

A tree can split because of high winds, a change in temperature, or from an infestation or tree disease. All of these factors can overlap, making a single cause difficult to pinpoint. While winter storms are some of the most common causes for a tree to split, it can also happen because of termites or rot.

A grafted tree is a tree grown by combining two trees. It takes expertise. Branches from grafted trees don’t grow strong roots. Save yourself the time and frustration by having an arborist help you with this advanced project.

You can often tell if a tree is grafted because it will have a noticeable line. Above the line, the bark will look different than it does below the line. It’s most common with fruit trees.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.
