"In addition to the gutter guards which were installed and the downspouts buried, Thrasher also changed out a misfitting basement window well and cover, and installed a Sadona dehumidifying system. Jonah and his crew of Corrin and Luis were excellent at the work they did. I was called before they arrived, to ensure I was ready for them to start work, and Jonah went over the work with me prior to starting, to confirm what was to be done. Completely professional. After it was completed, we inspected it together and everything was perfect. I will worry less next time it rains! I will definitely recommend Thrasher if anyone I know needs work done."

"The crew was absolutely amazing! Very impressed with how professional, polite, and personable they all were. The management and crews are top notch! Management answered all the questions I had, walked me through what steps they were going to take to get things done. Dustin was extremely thorough, knowledgable, and took time to explain the recommended systems. I will 100% be utilizing them in the future strictly based on the level of trust and quality he presented! His communication was fantastic, they always arrived on time. They were careful with the property, always cleaned up when they were done. I will absolutely hire them again to complete any future foundation/basement work and I will absolutely recommend this company without reservation or hesitation. They stand behind their work."

"Excellent experience.  They worked with me to come up with a solution, and did the work exactly as outlined.  The installation crew was very professional and efficient.  They took care to minimize the mess from an inherently messy job and did the work in a timely manner.  Would definitely use them again if the need arose."

"Kevin Goering was very personable and professional. He did a great job of explaining the process and I and two of my neighbors chose his company to do the work. (Let me also state that he is about the only company that I found that offered a timely and reasonable bid.) Now that said, the work took about 2 days. By the time they were finished I had no yard left in that area with 2 large, extremely large, mounds of dirt left where they had back filled the holes they had dug to push through the PVC line. This was expected to a certain degree. It was just much larger than expected. I will say that the work done to run the sump line was excellent, but the digging and backfilling of the holes was lacking. It has been 8 months and I still have one mound that still needs flattening. I have tried everything but driving the car over it to get it down.

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Professional tools include drain snakes, hydro jets, cameras for line inspection, and enzymatic or chemical cleaners for dissolution.

Professionals use snakes, hydrojetting, or chemical cleaners to clear blockages effectively without damaging pipes.

Once you’ve poured the baking soda and vinegar into a drain, you should wait about 10 minutes for the mixture to break down the clog. If you try the baking soda and vinegar method and it doesn't work, you can do it again or try the baking soda and salt trick.

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

The cost varies from $150 to $600, depending on the severity of the clog, pipe access, and required equipment.
