I had been working with a different lender that struggled with communicating what we were doing. It was very frustrating and stressful! Therefore, I completed the survey for Tyler and set up a time to talk about my different options. After that phone call, it was like a weight has been lifted and I knew this was who I needed to be working with. Tyler and his team sent out weekly updates showing what needs to be done, what needs to be sent in or completed, when documents were being submitted and when news was expected back. His updates were easy to understand and very helpful so I had a timeline to refer to. He was always available to answer any and all of my questions. Even the silly little questions that I felt bad for asking, he quickly responded and reassured me that it is okay to ask questions or share concerns whenever I had them. He made the whole process quick, clear, and stress-free! What I appreciate most was when there was a hiccup a few days before my closing date, Tyler was very upfront and direct. He told me exactly what was going on and immediately gave me different options fix it. Tyler and his team worked very hard and fought for me to close on time. During that week, they made sure to communicate any and all updates and made sure I was aware of what was happening. Because of them, I was able to close on time and everything turned out exactly how it was supposed to.
I can not say enough good things about Tyler and his team. All I can say is if you are looking for the best, give Tyler and his team a call!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ia/urbandale/the-tyler-osby-team-reviews-7915834.htm"},"position":3},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Safe Earth Lawn & Turf Inc","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"IA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Sarah B."},"reviewBody":"I was looking for a company to provide organic lawn care to control weeds in my lawn. I contacted this company and they came out promptly to survey my lawn. We customized a program that I felt comfortable with and they did a nice job providing the services requested. They made sure all gates were closed and were responsive to my phone calls and emails. Although this company doesn't serve Ames anymore, they did a good job informing me of this change and directing me to a local provider that offers the same services. I would definitely use this company again if I were living within their service area. When I didn't receive an answer on the first contractor I called, I clicked on deWit Construction and within 5 minutes I was contacted by Tim Wolfswinkel . He agreed to come out on the following Saturday afternoon to take a look at my roof and discuss what we wanted and what needed to be done. After surveying the roof Tim provided us with a bid to tear off the current shingles, install an new venting system that would allow better air flow into the attic, replace the trim around the garage door and a couple of areas on the facia along with replacing the shutters on the front of the house. Tim stated that they could be out the following Tuesday to do the work and that it would be a one day job, start to finish. To us, that is what got them the job. Their crew was here at 8:00 AM that following Tuesday and the job was completed by 5:30 that evening. They did an excellent job of cleaning up when they were done and the quality of their work was very good. The roof and other repairs look great and we haven't had any problems with our roof. I would recommend deWit Construction to anyone. "},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ia/dallas-center/des-moines-area-roofing-reviews-6458292.htm"},"position":5}]}

Simple version: I asked them to do a simple fluorescent-to-LED light exchange in my shop. They did the easy half and never came back, despite multiple calls and this letter. AND sent me an invoice for the whole job ! It’s hard for me to express how Disappointed and Astonished that a...

Showed up on the day they said. Installed the unit. However, as previously agreed with the guy they sent out to survey the job, they did not have the ability to use the Pex cold water line. They wanted to use a saddle clamp to tap into a copper cold water line. This was not acceptable, so...

I can honestly say I do not think I would be in my home today if it were not for Tyler and his team. Prior to looking for my first house, I did some research online regarding the home-buying process. I became very overwhelmed and decided to seek out a realtor's help. I was fortunate enough to...

FAQs for land surveying projects in Grimes, IA
Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:
Planning for construction projects, like building a fence
Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures
Settling property line disputes
Creating subdivisions
Meeting mortgage requirements
Selling your property
Land surveying costs about $530 for the average homeowner. However, your total cost could range anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more. Factors like the size of your property play a significant role in what you pay, but other things like the survey type and the time of year can also impact the final cost.
For example, if you’re looking for a simple boundary survey, you can expect to pay between $100 and $600. However, if you want a more in-depth survey that depicts the elevations of your hills and trees, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for a topographic survey.
A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:
Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.
Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.
Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.
Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.
Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.
Land survey reports provide a lot of helpful information about your property and land. The exact information provided depends on the type of survey you have done, but common information that they can provide includes:
Location of utility fixtures
Clear boundaries and dimensions of your property
General topography
Land elevation information
Confirmation of easements or encroachments
Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.
