I took him to a female veterinarians and he's been fine. Companion Animal Clinic are a smaller practice, so they don't always have as many people available. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they also have sales and discounts. They're really good and really good supporters of animal rescue. I was just fostering the dog when I brought him in, and they gave me a break on some things. I ended up keeping the dog. I went there at 11:10 on a Saturday morning to get some medicine. I wasn't aware that they closed at 11:00 on Saturdays. But when they saw me, they opened everything back up so I could get the medicine. Their prices are extremely reasonable. If you're on a budget, I would definitely recommend them. They got us in right away when we noticed my cat was urinating everywhere and his urine had some blood in it. They ended up being really, really helpful. They know their stuff. I've never had to wait. If I need to get them in that day, they can usually get me in."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ia/cedar-falls/companion-animal-clinic-reviews-2073512.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"James Decorative Painting","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"IA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Kathy S."},"reviewBody":"He was hired to remove the paper and leave the wall ready for me to paint. I was not at the home when he worked, but he told me he was there for five hours. It was a bathroom with only 1 8x8 full wall and 1/2 wall @ 4x8. I don't know what he did for that 5 hours, but didn't remove all the glue and some of the backing. Probably because he didn't know how. He admitted to looking on the internet for best ways to remove paper. He must have missed the one showing how to use a steamer and professional products. He left my house smelling like red cider vinegar and downey. And I still have to finish the job. On top of it, he broke the toilet tank lid. Offered to replace it, but showed up with a dirty, dusty lid that did not fit. He admitted to getting it from a plumber friend for free. On the phone he said he billed $25 per hour but charged me $30. Like a fool I paid him. Mostly to just get him out of my house. I guess that is what I get for taking a name from a flier off a convenience store bulletin board. Animal Removal reviews from real Angi homeowners in Greene, IA
He misrepresented himself, never arrived before 11:00 a.m., left by 3:30 p.m. He did a terrible job, he didn't wrap the house in tyvek. His cut outs looked like they were done with a childrens pair of scissors. All of the siding had to be removed and redone.

They were very friendly and did a wonderful job painting. They removed all outlet covers, filled holes, pulled baseboards away and then made a trip back the next day to replace it all after the paint had dried. They cleaned up entirely and left the house exactly as it was when they arrived. I...

Jim was punctual, honest, good humored, professional, and a perfectionist -even removing and reinstalling a large, heavy piece that was off by just 3/8 inch. He is a very good communicator, always letting us and the sub-contractors know exactly what was going on and any changes to design or...

FAQs for animal removal projects in Greene, IA
DIY animal removal is rarely a good idea and is not advised for many reasons. First, these types of animals can carry diseases and, therefore, pose a health risk to you, your family, and your pets if mishandled. Second, depending on your city or municipality, it may be illegal to remove or handle wildlife yourself.
Sealing your home against these animals yourself is also a bad idea. Trapping an animal under your house will cause odor and insect problems when it passes away.
Pest control is not the same as animal removal. Pest control specialists treat for insects and bugs, often by using chemicals. Animal removal specialists try to avoid chemicals if possible and instead work to trap and move the animal that's causing problems.
Since each expert has their own removal methods, it's best to contact a pest control professional for insects and bugs and an animal control specialist for other animals.
Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:
Bats
Birds
Groundhogs
Moles and voles
Opossums
Mice and rats
Raccoons
Skunks
Squirrels
The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.
You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.
Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.
Professional animal removal costs between $200 and $600 for average homeowners. However, depending on the type and number of critters removed, this cost could range from $85 to $1,400.
This cost does not include the cost of home damage caused by the animal, which could be as low as $300 for minor drywall repair or as much as $15,000 for crawl space cleaning and restoration.
