Schaefer Tree & Stump

Did a great job. Cleaned up well. Stumps removed well. Careful about structures - our and the neighbors. Worth the service and liability terms that they performed. They were cognitive of rain so that their truck would not be on our lawn after a rain. Were careful of the yard.

Called for an estimate and they came out the next day. Work was done within two weeks. Since the backyard was inaccessible to the large stump grinder, they used their grinder that fits through a 3-foot gate. They did a wonderful job, cleaned up everything very well. Very pleased with their work and will use them again to take down a Birch tree in the front yard.

Talked to the company on the phone and got an estimate next day. Once the weather dried up a little bit I received a call with notice they would be out the next day to perform the service if it was alright. The company was out the next day and it took them about 6 to 7 hours with a lunch to remove the tree and grind the stump. I had a locust tree about 30 to 40 foot tall, my lawn was taken care of and the clean up was done very well.

We've used them a few times in the past. He is easy to work with and he knows his business well. He is a nice guy and he does a good job. The experience has been great. His prices tend to be a little more expensive.

I thought they did really nice work. I remember them not being to expensive. I also liked the other reviews I read about them on Angie's List.

They removed dead branches from a tree in my back yard using a bucket. They also trimmed up some limbs that weren't in the original bid. Instead of pulling out the yews, they cut them off and then ground out the roots.

I was happy overall.

The job proved to be more extensive than first thought. But we were apprized of problems before he completed job. Did a thorough job. The only drawback was that the skid loader chewed up the gravel driveway and the path across the lawn.

This company is great to deal with. I called them to do an estimate (based on a friend's recommendation) and they had the best price and could come out right away to do the work. He was very willing to work around my schedule. They were on time and had everything done in a couple of hours (a lot less than I thought it would take). Originally I was going to have him just drop one of the trees and have the other hauled away. The day of the service, I realized that I wouldn't have a chainsaw to cut up the tree that they were going to drop (I was going to use it for firewood). I asked Loras if he could cut it up for me and he did so free of charge. I would highly recommend them.
