"Pat came out on a Saturday after I called. Originally looking for just gutter guards. Pat explained the new, larger gutter and downspout benefits. My old gutters were 40 years old, dented, and no draining properly. Explained ways to improve on the current setup by adding an additional downspout for better drainage. He told me he makes recommendations as if this was his house, which I appreciated. Was able to have his crew out before original estimate. The crew worked quickly and clean. Everything looks great. Ready for the leaves this fall."

"The 3 young men (early 20's) that own Integrity Gutters and did the work at my home were extremely professional, responsible, courteous, hard workers, honest, and overall just great to work with an be around. They were competitive in pricing and worked with me to get the price in my price range. I can't say enough good things about this group of young men. I highly recommend them. John, Bryce, and Brent. Outstanding quality work."

"Calls were returned promptly.  A fee is charged for an estimate.  If you proceed with the estimated repairs, the estimate is credited against the total charges for the repairs.  The work was scheduled for a specific date and time and was completed exactly as promised.  The roof was shingled in 2001 and EJS found the exact shingles used so that the repair is entirely invisible.  The source of the leak turned out to be improper initial installation of the shingles around the vent stack by another roofing company.  All the interactions with EJS were professional and they let me know they stand behind the work they have done.  I would use this company again because of their obvious expertise, skill, dependability and courtesy.

"We both understood that the day of install was a day of unfortunate events: his helper was late , the weather was drizzling on an off that day, his truck brok down and he was there long after the install to repair his truck (past sundown?). Installation of downspout in wrong place was not discussed further by my husband to correct it because he knew Scott was having one of those days and he was facing some serious issues with his cancer returning with a vengeance. Scott had given a 10% discount as a Veteran. He passed Aug 6, 2021."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Yes, gutter repair is almost always worth the investment. Some homeowners believe that gutter repairs are only to improve the home’s curb appeal, but gutters play a pivotal role in protecting your foundation from damage and structural instability, and they also prevent water damage to your soffits, fascia, roof, and exterior walls. You will pay an average of around $400 to have your gutters professionally repaired, but it’s worth it even for the peace of mind of knowing that one of your largest investments is adequately protected from the elements.

Icicles don't necessarily mean your gutters are clogged or bad, but they can indicate an underlying issue. While clogged gutters can cause icicles to form, the problem could also be an ice dam on your roof from poor insulation. In that case, melting snow can refreeze in the gutter even without a clog. Regardless of the cause, the weight of the ice can damage your gutters or even rip them completely off the house. If you are unsure of the underlying problem, it's best to call a roofing company to assess the issue and implement a permanent solution.

On average, gutters need to be replaced every 20 years. Unprotected gutters in more extreme weather conditions are more prone to breaking and may need to be replaced sooner. Meanwhile, proper maintenance can extend your gutter’s life span even further. That said, proper installation, gutter hangers to provide additional support, and gutter guards or helmets all play an important role in how long your gutters last.

The duration of a repair job can range from a few hours to several days. Simpler issues may take 1-4 hours, while more complex work or extensive damage could take 1-3 days. The final timeline depends on the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the location of the work.

Unless you've chosen to install underground downspouts, your gutter downspouts shouldn't touch the ground. If they come into contact with the soil or pavement next to your home, rainwater can back up into them during a storm, preventing them from doing their job effectively. Instead, aim to have your downspouts end about 12 inches from the ground.
