Customers say: Terrific value

"They were very friendly down to earth and very informative explaining why and how things were the way they were very honest and I was able to understand everything they told me I highly recommend this company. I have another project that will take place in the spring and have already been talking with him about what needs to be done weâ ve talked it over and theyâ ve done a couple test holes in the concrete ensuring that the dirt has just settled and not washed out itâ ll be a difficult lift against the brick but Iâ m confident that they will be able to perform the task at hand."

"I saw this company at our local Home Show, and called the next Monday. Nick from Midwest Basement Systems came down to give me an estimate, he was very professional, and he followed up to make sure I did not have any questions or concerns. The crew was very professional making sure plastic was down and minimal disruption working very quietly! There was a follow up visit to make sure all the work was done according to the contract and to my satisfaction, again extremely professional!
We had a major rain since and I am happy to say there was no water in the basement and no musty smell! The humidity has dropped from a norm of 62% without rain to 41% with the Sani dry! I can even leave my basement door open, something I could never do before! I could not be more pleased and I feel it was worth every penny, because I have peace of mind! I am certain my utility bills will reflect a significant savings in the near future. I just wish I would have known about Midwest Basement Systems sooner. Great company, great product! I am sold!"

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking is suitable for sidewalks, driveways, patios, and nearly all exterior flat structures. However, it may not suit severely damaged or heavily cracked areas.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.
