I do honest work I don't try to inflate cost two clients, I've been apart of a lot of large jobs and careers with other companies I previously worked with my father had the Behlen metal buildings dealership he is past I go from job to job when I get task completed I try to find another. I kind of like doing smaller jobs with the small crew it just seems easier I enjoy working with the owner or the project engineer to help solve problems make Corrections re-engineered I am not an engineer though, but sometimes it's just plain sense!

ConcreteMedic is your trusted partner for Concrete Leveling & Repair. Settled or uneven concrete slabs present safety (tripping) issues and decrease curb appeal, possibly even reducing the value of your home. We utilize our polyurethane foam concrete mudjacking (concrete lifting/leveling) process, to help homeowners and businesses avoid expensive concrete replacement. Our service allows you to resume normal use of your concrete surface in minutes, not days or hours. In fact, vehicles can be driven on our surface oftentimes within 15 minutes of installation. As an added bonus, many of our projects take no longer than an hour to complete, start to finish. The Omaha, Nebraska metro area presents some unique challenges related to weather and its effect on concrete. We understand these problems and can provide a unique solution that can often save you thousands of dollars versus the cost of replacement.

"Cory Miller was great to work with! He came out right away and gave me a quote, and scheduled my job for the following month. His crew was friendly and they did a great job."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Both concrete and asphalt are appropriate for your driveway apron. The choice often comes down to local laws and the current material of your driveway. In some cases, your town may require you to install wire mesh or rebar to fortify the material, but both are common in apron installation.

You should put gravel that is 3/4 to 1 inch under a concrete slab. However, depending on the project, local building codes may dictate the proper gravel size and shape. Some concrete slabs that do not hold significant weight may have a subbase of sand. Also, keep in mind that the subbase you choose will affect the cost of your concrete patio, walkway, or driveway.

Decomposed granite and caliche can both harden into a solid surface using a plate compactor. However, due to decomposed granite’s fine particles, it’s not suitable for driveway surfaces. Some homeowners use pea gravel mixed with a gravel-binding resin to bind the loose stones and create a solid surface that won’t shift like loose gravel.

All foundations have footers, including monolithic slabs. In some cases, the foundation itself acts as the footer, as in the case of a floating slab and a monolithic slab. With a monolithic slab, the footers—which are just the bottom-most portion of the foundation that distributes loads down to stable soil—are a part of the main slab and are constructed with a single pour.

In most cases, the cost to pour a concrete patio falls between $8 and $12 per square foot. For a typical 200-square-foot concrete patio, you’re looking at an average price of between $1,600 and $2,400. Most concrete patios will be 4 inches thick, so thickness plays a minimal role in the price variance, but some types of concrete finishes can cost up to $25 per square foot, which has a major impact on your total.
