"Sewage backed up into my basement over a holiday weekend. Called Roto-Rooter 800 line and Anthony was out within 45 minutes! Had to break through tree roots in my main sewer line and was out within an hour. Very courteous, respectful, and even helped clean a back up in our shower! Top notch customer service and reasonably priced."

"We have an older home with older ductwork. We had Spencer and Brayton out and they cleaned and sealed our ductwork. They did a great job. Professional, great communication, attention to detail. They reduced our air leakage by 86%. We noticed an immediate difference in improved airflow, our cold spots are no longer cold spots. Thanks!"

"Very professional and courteous with great communication.  The new faucet and sprayer arrived at the shop within 24 hours; installation was flawless and took far less time than I anticipated.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

"Installation completed satisfactorily. Only surprise to me was that the portion of the water trek that sits above the cement floor wasn't flat against the basement wall. Not really an issue but not as clean of a look as I thought it would be

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

French drains may fail when they become clogged with soil granules that slip through the pores of the landscaping fabric and through the holes in the pipe.

Over time, this debris can build up inside the pipe and prevent water flow. To prevent this failure from happening, regularly flush out your French drain and keep debris away from the inlet grate.

It is safe to flush small amounts of bleach down the toilet. Don’t flush more than ¼ cup of bleach. Instead, consider diluting it and pouring it down the sink drain.

To unclog the drain pipe, remove the machine's drain hose from the pipe or sink drain, being careful to contain any water in it. Next, use a plunger for sink drains or a plumbing snake for a wall drain. Test the repair by pouring a small amount of water into the pipe before trying it with a laundry load.

To clean gunk out of a sink drain, pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar. The two will react chemically; let them fizz for 15 minutes, then rinse with boiling water. Repeat these steps if necessary for particularly dirty sink drains, and consider a drain snake if there are clogs.

Regardless of the drain cleaner type you choose to use, they all work through chemical reactions that create heat. Thanks to the heat, the clogged hair begins to dissolve until it is able to be flushed away. To avoid clogs in your drain due to hair, use hair catchers and empty them out after every shower.
