Painting of Homes (interior & exterior) as well as Roofs. We also do Commercial Buildings. Power washing is included in Paint work. We have been in Business for 17 years now. We do Excellent neat work and we are very meticulous. We treat it as if it is our Home or Business and we like all of our work done Neat, Beautiful and in a timely manner. We have done work for alot of great Doctors in Hilo, their homes as well as their office buildings. We were told that we were hired because of our Trust Worthiness and Neat Work that was performed. We Love working closely with people as well as making their Homes or Businesses Beautiful.

"Joey is very professional, meticulous and pays attention to every detail. Our job was made much more complex as we stripped the cedar on the house structure to bare wood prior to painting/staining. As problems came up, Joey and I were quickly able to resolve them with no loss of time nor extension to the due date. The project completed on time and we are very pleased with the results. A special shout out to Joey’s wife Cindy who was incredibly supportive (and is an excellent cook). Joey and Cindy made us feel as though we were family. It’s possible to paint inside when it rains, but you should keep the windows closed and have a dehumidifier in the room to maintain proper humidity under 70%. Note that keeping the windows closed means you won’t have ventilation, so double-check that you’re using a no-VOC paint for safety. Even then, it’s a better idea to wait until the rain has passed before you start painting.

Painting over cracks without repairing them first will simply lead to needing to fix them later. They will reappear in short order. Usually, just a bit of spackle and a putty knife before painting will do the trick. However, if there are significant cracks, find the source of the problem and fix it before moving forward.

While paint drying smoothly on a wall is ideal, a can full of dry paint is not. To open a can of dry paint, you’ll need a tool with a sharp edge, such as a utility knife or a box cutter. Take your tool and score the area where the lid meets the can to break through the dried-up paint. Then, use a paint can opener or a flathead screwdriver to pry the lid open and check the state of the contents. For smaller cans with plastic lids, you can run the top under hot water to loosen the lid. 

Most spray paint is fully dry after 24 hours, but knowing when the spray paint is dry depends on the type of dry paint criteria. Surface dry is a surface that’s dry enough for you to apply another coat of paint. Touch dryness is a little dryer than surface dryness and will feel dry if you gently touch it, but it’s really wet underneath the initial touch. Hard dry feels fully dry but can dent or smudge upon extra pressure. Thoroughly dry paint is completely dry.
