Painting of Homes (interior & exterior) as well as Roofs. We also do Commercial Buildings. Power washing is included in Paint work. We have been in Business for 17 years now. We do Excellent neat work and we are very meticulous. We treat it as if it is our Home or Business and we like all of our work done Neat, Beautiful and in a timely manner. We have done work for alot of great Doctors in Hilo, their homes as well as their office buildings. We were told that we were hired because of our Trust Worthiness and Neat Work that was performed. We Love working closely with people as well as making their Homes or Businesses Beautiful.

"Joey is very professional, meticulous and pays attention to every detail. Our job was made much more complex as we stripped the cedar on the house structure to bare wood prior to painting/staining. As problems came up, Joey and I were quickly able to resolve them with no loss of time nor extension to the due date. The project completed on time and we are very pleased with the results. A special shout out to Joey’s wife Cindy who was incredibly supportive (and is an excellent cook). Joey and Cindy made us feel as though we were family. You should let your initial paint job dry at least 12 hours before opening the door. Check your work after 12 hours have passed to confirm there are no uneven patches, or signs of the old paint showing though—if you see any, we recommend applying a second coat of paint and waiting an additional 12 hours for it to dry. 

If you skip using a primer before painting brick, you risk ending up with a blotchy paint job that won’t last as long. Because of the natural variations in brick, paint can adhere and dry unevenly to different spots. When you use a primer, you put a neutralizing layer between the brick and the paint, evening the texture and color. Without a good primer, paint can also flake off in spots, come out blotchy, and wear away more easily.

It’s best to avoid sleeping in a freshly painted room for 24 to 72 hours, depending on ventilation and the level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the paint. If you’re using a low- to no-VOC paint in a room with good ventilation, it’s generally safe to sleep in the room once the paint is dry. For other kinds of paint, give the VOCs a few days to dissipate before sleeping in the room.

Flat paint has a much shorter life span than other finishes due to the lack of protective gloss. How long flat paint lasts on walls will depend on sun exposure, moisture, temperature variations, how often it is cleaned, and more. While it’s impossible to give an exact number, don’t be surprised if you need to repaint walls with flat paint every few years.
