Painting of Homes (interior & exterior) as well as Roofs. We also do Commercial Buildings. Power washing is included in Paint work. We have been in Business for 17 years now. We do Excellent neat work and we are very meticulous. We treat it as if it is our Home or Business and we like all of our work done Neat, Beautiful and in a timely manner. We have done work for alot of great Doctors in Hilo, their homes as well as their office buildings. We were told that we were hired because of our Trust Worthiness and Neat Work that was performed. We Love working closely with people as well as making their Homes or Businesses Beautiful.

"Joey is very professional, meticulous and pays attention to every detail. Our job was made much more complex as we stripped the cedar on the house structure to bare wood prior to painting/staining. As problems came up, Joey and I were quickly able to resolve them with no loss of time nor extension to the due date. The project completed on time and we are very pleased with the results. A special shout out to Joey’s wife Cindy who was incredibly supportive (and is an excellent cook). Joey and Cindy made us feel as though we were family. Rather than learning how to repaint a room in its entirety, you might want to touch up areas that are showing worn paint or damage. Learning how to match the paint color already on the walls can be challenging, though. If you don’t have any of the original paint, your local hardware store might have a record in your account of your past paint color purchases. Otherwise, remove and take a small piece of painted drywall to the hardware store to do paint matching. Test the new paint in a hidden area to be sure it matches.

While it may seem like a blind spot, if you don’t paint behind the toilet, the previous color will likely be visible once the rest of the bathroom has been repainted, especially if you’ve gone with a significantly different color palette. Additionally, not painting every part of the room at the same time means that you will have an older paint job behind your toilet that could be more susceptible to moisture damage.

It’s fine to paint over acrylic paint with latex paint as long as the surface is properly prepped. If your paint surface isn’t glossy, you should be able to apply your paint or primer directly to it. If your acrylic surface is glossy, rough up the surface with some sandpaper first and use a good primer to ensure proper adhesion for your latex paint.

If your already-painted walls have glossy paint, scuff the surface with 220-grit sandpaper or its equivalent before applying primer and paint. For all other paint sheen finishes, clean the walls and repair any spots that need it. Remember to protect the places that you don't intend to paint.
