Since starting out over 90 years ago as a small, family-owned Hilo lumber mill, HPM Building Supply—now 100-percent employee-owned—has grown to include three full-service building supply centers and four lumber yards on the Big Island. "Ordered and paid for custom awning that was to take 5 weeks. Its now been 16 weeks and still waiting. Owner is at best noncommunicable and at worst, rude. I'm now wondering if this is a scam and not a real business."
