My wife and I become new home owners in 2018. Our house was fairly new and well maintained. With that being said, things break, and they break at the most unexpected times. We've had experiences with many contractors over the years. Electricians, plumbers, general contractors, etc. It is sad to say, but it is so frustrating to find an honest and trustworthy contractor. Often times, they quote you an exorbitant price, upsell other services/products, and leave a mess or unfinished work once they get paid. Mitch has repaired our pipes after the February freeze. He also helped install new flooring to our attic space, and completed several projects for my in-laws (flooring, roofing, water heater replacement, drywall repair). We finally found our handyman! He is communicative, courteous, and extremely trustworthy. He completes his work from start to finish with the utmost detail. I mean the level of detail that is usually reserved for one's own home or close family members. It speaks to the man's code of ethics. He believes in honest work at an honest price within a reasonable timeframe. His prices are extremely fair, that is not to say cheap or expensive, but fair for the quality of work being done. I plan to continue to work with Mitch for any and all home repairs that are within his capacity.

We are extremely pleased with the service they provided. Installed a complicated window, fixed 3 doors and repaired a chimney. Very reasonable in cost. Workmanship was professional and done in a timely manner. Really enjoyed Mitchell Davis and his crew. Friendly, personable and honest. For home repair and remodeling jobs, or as my wife said "fixing my mistakes" strongly recommend Davis Repair and Remodeling. We will diffidently call on them again when needed.

Mitchell modified the space for my 50 yr old 26" double electric wall oven to fit our new 27" double electric wall oven and did the install including modifying the cabinets so the new ovens would fit. As usual the job was excellent. I have been using Mitchell for several years for our contracting needs and he has always done great work.

I needed new wood tile installed for a couple of rooms and had seen Mitch's work in other houses. He was very knowledgeable about the work, helpful in the design and layout and offered suggestions where needed. He and his crew were respectful of the property, the work was done in the time stated and after they made sure everything was clean and back in its place. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again for future jobs.

Davis Home Repair was recommended by a friend. And he did not disappoint. He took my vision and exceeded it. I love my new cabinets, Love my ceiling, new textures.. hands down the best.

My wife and I hired Davis home repair and remodeling for two bathroom installations. We can not say enough good things about this company. I will start by explaining we had several other business attempt to tell us how our desires were to detailed and then gave many suggestions on how the bathrooms should look. Basically telling us what we needed and not what we wanted! Davis Home repair was just the opposite, they reviewed the plans, developed a supply list and began working. The project was difficult and big. However, it was completed timely and above all our expectations. The owner and his team were polite, precise and very approachable. The owner even suggested a better tile and we are extremely happy with his choice. Another praise to this company they traveled outside of Houston to complete the work. Davis Home Repair and Remodeling were referred to us by a friend. We wanted our cabinets painted, Hands down the best decision we ever made! Mitch the owner gave us a quote and started the next day. Not only did he show up with a professional crew but he finished a day ahead of schedule. I could not have asked for a better experience! Will highly recommend to anyone I know!

Mitchell with Davis Home was highly recommended by our neighbor... he promptly came and gave us a quote which was very reasonable...he also gave us lots of good suggestions and advice because this was our first total bathroom remodel... he explained everything as he went ... gave us an estimated time it would take ( in which he was right on) and we could not be more than pleased with his work... he and his helper Jeff went above and beyond than what was expected!!! We absolutely love our new walk in shower with ceramic tile and frameless shower glass door... we are so pleased infact that we have other projects lined out for him... interior and exterior paint job on our house...I would definitely recommend Davis Home Repair & Remodeling to anyone

I know it was a fair price and quality of work was excellent. I also could tell Mr. Davis took pride in his work and made sure the finished project looked good!!

Mr. Davis did a fine job adding new fence sides to tie in with existing fences, plus his creation of a cat access in the lower center plank on the gate is well made. I have received many compliments on it so far.

They were fantastic and very professional. Did an excellent job repairing a hole in my roof and the ceiling of a bathroom. They were very, very nice, neat and did a custom job. Was very pleased with all the work. A job well done by great people!!!

If you need a job done this man will do it right and for a very great price so I would say it was 5 star service.

Your contract will be a list of materials and a disclaimer. He will not prepare the surface for painting and he will not tell you this until after he has started painting. When you point out the error, he will say it is not in the scope of work and he will not give you a price to fix it. He simply will not do it. If you do use this company, do not pay the total until you are satisfied with the work, no matter what his financial difficulties he says he has. He says my house looks better than it did. This is true; from the road. I am preparing litigation against his company and him as an individual for all damages incurred, including but not limited to punitive damages.

Mitchell Davis and his crew from Davis Home Remodeling and Repair came and fixed tile that had to be torn out by the plumbers during our house re-pipe. They were very professional, polite, and courteous. They did a good job patching and matching the tile. What I really appreciated was that they want to make sure you are totally satisfied and they take a lot of pride in their work. I wish I could post before and after photos, because they had to fix a huge hole in my shower and now it s like it never happened, which makes me very happy! We have more work we want to hire them to do for us. They stay busy, so be patient if they can t get to you right away. They are worth waiting for, because the job will be done right. I do highly recommend Davis Home Remodeling and Repair.

Quality of work was poor. The contractor indicated he would not fix issues with work. During the estimate and job I was not made aware that the framing was an issue. There are large gaps around the door.

We own an older home that needs some TLC. Today s service was managing deteriorating external areas such as brick gaps and sealing windows and doors. It all look great now! We are repeat customers and appreciate the professionalism and quality work.

We had some major water damage caused by a bad drain line on the ac unit. Davis home repair came out and got rid of the wet mess in the walls and ceiling. They also framed and hung two exterior doors for us and got the work done really quick! I was so pleased with the work, we plan on having more projects done around the house by Davis Home Repair. They start my new flooring in a few weeks and I cannot wait! I highly recommend Davis Home Repair!!!

Great quality service from a true craftsman. Everything from scheduling to completion of not one, but three jobs (door repair plus two flooring repairs) to payment was professional and top notch. We even asked for a bid for a future cabinetry addition. You can't go wrong with Davis Home Repair and Remodeling.

Mr davis was very considerate of a older home owner and my family members, I would definitely reuse this company anytime I have work to be done, Mitchell was a great honest, and pleasant guy. If I could give him more starts I would.

I hired Davis Home Repair to some damaged drywall, the repairs included removing the bad areas, install new, texture and paint. The work was done high quality, in a timely fashion, and at a fair price.

They did an excellent job!
