"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"This is an update with photos that I did not have yesterday when I posted the review. I want folks to see the wonderful job David Wimbs and D&J Construction did. Everything went well. Jobs were done last fall in 2017 and last month in March 2018. David Wimbs is a very hard worker and pays attention to detail. He filed for permits and got inspections done by city before and after work was complete. He even drew the design by what I told him I'd like to have to get permits and showing them the plan. His employees very polite and worked well also. On Shady Lane had a 4 car (minimum) double wide driveway done, a mini patio, walkways leading to each for $6300. which was done in March 2018. Last fall D & J did another on Windwood Cul De Sac another 4 car (minimum) double wide driveway, larger patio, mini sit down area next to driveway and house for close to $7000. Yes I have what city calls two front yards because my property is on corner of one street and a second street. Every dollar I paid D & J construction was worth every penny and than some. David kept me apprised as he complete various things and made sure to keep me in the loop. Very professional, very business like, very polite. I would highly recommend this company and its owner if they want quality work done. Contract was pay half up front when job started and balance on day of completion and city inspected."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

There is no real alternative to underpinning, although mudjacking and polyjacking are other repair methods that can add support from underneath your foundation. Rather than placing supportive piers under your structure, these involve pumping a material under your slab to lift a sunken section back into its original position. Polyjacking, in particular, is sometimes a suitable solution for stabilization issues under slab foundations, but underpinning is often accepted as the best and most permanent solution.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Yes, you can mudjack cracked concrete, but the cracks will need to be repaired once the concrete has been leveled. If the concrete is severely cracked in multiple places, replacement may be a better option, but for less severe cracking, mudjacking is a good solution as long as cracks are correctly caulked and sealed.
