"From our initial call to the final walk thru before payment, this was a great company! I highly recommend them. McClane did an outstanding job from beginning til end. Our heat pump went down during very hot weather and in 36 hours we were back and cool again with a brand new Carrier heat pump. Will be our go to company in the future."

"Professional, courteous, prompt service from both the office staff and the plumber. Clear, up-front communication on pricing and options. Good work and a satisfactory outcome. Ethan stayed positive and showed a can-do attitude despite various hiccups related to working with old fixtures in an older house."

"This was the second job done by B Electric. They got back to me in a reasonable amount of time, showed up promptly, did a great job, and cleaned up. Very reasonable and always courteous and friendly. I consider them my only electrical contractor."

"He was cordial and it was pretty good. They were awesome in what they did. I used to be in the business so i know what needed to be done and if I could I would have. They were satisfactory to me, they were clean, efficient, whatever they took out they put back and they also installed easy access because of my condition. They informed us of things they ran into and most other people wouldn't have even told us about it. I have been through that before. When I called because of my condition they were out here within two hours and I could set back and ride the cruise control."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.

Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
