"Job was to remove about 60 linear feet of old farm animal pens overgrown by bushes, trees, and vines. Several welded iron bar gates, sheet metal, corrugated iron, barbed wire, railroad ties, fence posts, chain link fencing, chicken wire, old melted engine block/generator, hazardous waste, old furniture, heaters, etc. Job was done quickly, efficiently, professionally. Due to miscommunication on my part, late in the afternoon, after dump was closed, I identified unfinished work. Payton didn't blink an eye but rather continued working until after dark to complete the work. I will hire him again should the need arise. Would recommend him to anyone needing demolition, removal of structures, hazardous materials, or clearing."

A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

For minor issues like a bad seal or a simple jam, a repair can be inexpensive, sometimes under $10.
