We had Justin do some other work in our house previously and he has always been excellent. Justin took the time to look at our storm door and the door jamb around it. Water damage and several previous fixes were now causing problems around the door. Justin recommended a new water resistant door jamb and storm door to properly fix our problem. Justin removed the old worn out jamb, inspected the area for further damage, and replaced the new jamb and storm door. He also made sure the door trim inside and out was properly caulked and painted like new including new weather stripping. The door works and looks great now.

We called Justin to have some shelves made next to our fireplace.  He measured the area and we discussed in detail the type of base cabinet and shelves that we were looking for. He made some good recommendations and was very meticulous in making sure he understood exactly what we wanted the finished product to look like. The finished shelves were built off site and then installed at our house about two weeks later. They look great and the trim detail matches our room crown molding. It is hard to find a good trim carpenter these days but Justin knows his stuff.

After consulting with Justin on the best type of wood floor system for a room we were updating, I purchased the wood flooring material and glue from a local shop. Justin and Shane installed the flooring in a day. The flooring looks great!

After finding Ash Interiors on Angie's list, I called Justin to get a quote on some custom shelving and a window seat. Justin came out the next morning and talked over the scope of the work and the details of the job. He also provided some photos of some recent shelf work that he had done. It looked like really nice work with attention to craftsman woodworking detail. Justin provided me a quote for the window seat and the shelves. A few weeks later, we called Justin and scheduled the work. The window seat was solidly built with attention to detail. They cleaned up  after the job and left no trash. My wife loves it. He will be building our shelves soon.

At our first meeting Justin helped us through some decision making by giving us some great recommendations. They installed our trim quickly and flawlessly, then left the work site cleaner than they found it. From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with them.

Justin got back to me immediately via text every time I had a question. He was ok with me purchasing materials and talked me through to make sure I got the right stuff. I agreed to pay him for 8 hours because he drove a little out of his range to come to my home on a Saturday. His rate is reasonable, his work is excellent, and he is easy to work with. I would use him again. | |He did wainscoting in my laundry room (8x12 ft).

It went great.....they look great and I am very satisfied.  We are considering another set.  Justin is very responsible, prompt and reasonable.  I have some other projects that I will be asking him to do in the future.  He does an excellent job.

Justin came on time on the day we agreed. He evaluated the problem and decided on the repair needed to rehang the mantle.  He did the work quickly and did an excellent job.  He left no dust and cleaned up after the repair.  He went out of his way and even repaired some "holes"  made in the wood of the of the mantle when it fell. He was very meticulous and friendly. I feel his pricing was very fair adequate and plan to use him again for some other repairs and things needed around the house.  The experience was a pleasure and my mantle looks great.  It is very sturdy. I am a very satisfied customer.

The work went very well.  I was amazed at how quickly the main portion of an oak display table with turned legs came together.  We are in the process of choosing the stain and can't do much more until that is done.  Justin's work is always top quality and he acomplishes a great deal in a short time.  Quality woodworking is usually slow and tedious but Justin is able to hold top quality and work rapidly.

I have used Justin in the past and this day's work was of the same high quality. Building book shelves, sealing an opening left by a removed door, and building a level platform to compensate for a slanted porch floor. A very talented individual whoses work is of the highest quality and amazingly fast considering the detailed fits required by finish work.

He is a subcontractor and he does work on his own too; he fills in with contract work. He is fast and as good as any carpenter I have ever seen. He did a Victorian finish. He helped me find a place that would match the old finish.
