"Franklins crew arrived as schelduled and after inspeccting the pipes and septic system, determined it was NOT the main drain but merely a busted tub drain that had been damaged during a recent remodel. While there they replaced a p-trap, jetted the lines, emptied the septic tank and replaced the busted pipe. Their crew was AMAZING! They knew exactly what they were doing and didn't go out of their way to break the bank. The work was done in a timely manner and I was notified about each repair or procedure in real time via text or photos or call. I was in utter shock that I had been so bamboozled by such a trusted big name national plumber on my 1st estimate and will NEVER use another Septic Specialist/ Plumber unless it is Franklin's. Twice the work for less than half the original estimate and the work was honest and superior. I could not wait to write this review! It is so rare especially as a woman, to find honest contractors. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. "Bathtub leak assessment and repair"

"Richard is excellent! The only problem with Richard is that he is so busy that he still hasn't had time to get on my next project of levelling the floor, installing the heat strips and setting 500 sq ft of 6x36 ceramic tile. He's going to start that next weekend and I'm sure that I will be giving you another review. All joking aside, Richard is very professional. He has very good equipment which says knowledge and success. He priced the job low and still did several extra things that I asked him to do while he was there. He asked for no extra money. Being a business owner myself, I felt that the job was so well done that I increased the total by 30% and still felt that I was underpaying. (Update) First let me say that Richard is an outstanding human being. I would trust him with my wallet. He works very hard to please the Customer. We are doing a complete remodel of our guest house and so far Richard has done the entire bedroom. That includes sheetrock, tile floor, paint and trim. As I stated in the previous review, he did a great job hanging the rock and did it so cheap that I paid him extra. The tile in that bedroom, about 450SqFt., is 6" X 36" on a very unlevel concrete slab. He worked his butt off getting that tile down. It wasn't perfect but I don't think anyone could have done better with that very difficult tile job. So, the sheetrock and tile were very good but then came the painting. The painting was really bad. I think that he got behind his scheduling because of the high difficulty of the tile job and rushed the paint. He chose to spray the walls and there is overspray everywhere. He put down tarps but they mare really for brush and roller work, not sprayers. Paint also shows the flaws in the sheetrock finishing and there were more quite a few. Richard worked diligently trying to fix them. I actually felt sorry for him, paid him and let him get on to his next job. I have another painter coming in to repair the paint job and I am working nights with paint thinner to clean the tile myself. I would still use Richard on some projects now that I know his skill level. I just expected too much from a man that bills himself as a handyman. All that said, if you have any tile job, Richard is as good as any contractor out there. I don't want to cost Richard any work. I own my business and admit that I have high expectations from other self-employed businessmen."

"For a while, I was really always it seems that anytime I needed something, I couldn't get it timely. The first they would ask, for instance, when my air conditioning went out I had them and it's well have you maintained it. The application being that if you couldn't produce maintenance records they weren't going to do it. So on air conditioner was unhappy. They shocked me . I had a recent leak inside the loft. They sent somebody out here. They really did a good job on it. They were timely. A leak within the draining system inside the wall, I was getting water damage down the wall. They sent a plumber out. He opened up the wall and replaced the piping in there and then patched the wall back up. They don't do finish work on their patch up but hey do the patch. He was a pretty sharp young man. He was responsive. He came and he needed some things. he went and got them. He came right back. That was one that I was wondering if they were even going to do caus they'd been going on for a while. It was a drainage pipe in the wall. It was a manufacturing defect that had probably leaked from some early years of the home and got progressively worse until I could hear it. Actually when I would turn on the water on a certain faucet I could hear it drip down onto a fireplace. That's how I knew what it was. They don't do the finish. You do the finish. They do the patch. The only reason I kept them was because they showed me a different face with that repair. Before it seemed like everything you wanted they had a reason not to do it."
