Hello, I have owned my own part-time custom woodworking/furniture business for over a decade, which is growing more and more. I create my own custom furniture, as well as reproduction and restoration. I also have experience with built-ins, stairs, trimwork, and cabinetry. I also offer handyman services, I have 18+ years experience in minor home repairs, such as plumbing, drywall repair, deck and fence repair, cement repair, framing and remodeling, and more. I am honest, fair, and if there is a job I am not qualified for, I will disclose that up front, rather than bumble along pretending I know how. Generally my business over the years has been from referral and word of mouth. I believe in delivering top quality work. I take my time, make sure all jobs are done right, I am very thorough, and emphasize attention to detail. I generally overbuild my jobs for strength and longevity, not sacrificing for cost-cutting measures, unless specifically required to do so, but even then I still deliver maximum quality in my work. I make sure my customers are satisfied before I call a job complete. I always appreciate new business, and thrive off of customer satisfaction.
"Very well. Matthew does excellent work and will work within your budget. He designed some beautiful and unique window shutters for our barn as well as a shelf piece out of my children’s crib. All other work was done well. Very trustworthy."

Woodworking is my passion. In 2011 I started it as a hobby and absolutely fell in love. Inspired by the craftsman style of the early 1900s, I began making frames, small pieces of furniture, and kitchen cabinets for my own home. Already a collector of antique furniture from the same period, I had an appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into each piece. In 2021 I took the leap to follow my dream and pursue woodworking full time. As my experience has grown so has my appreciation for other styles. I particularly enjoy working with old growth reclaimed lumber...wood that has a story. While I like the fact that I'm able to save something from going to the landfill, I love that the story of where the wood came from will live on in the pieces I create. My goal is to make pieces that last well beyond a lifetime in a timeless style that fit with almost any decor.
"Bungalow Woodshop exceeded expectation. We were looking for a simple shelving unit for our basement and Timâ s creativity expanded our thinking without expanding our budget. Heâ s as thoughtful and courteous as he is meticulous. We asked him to build a custom pool cue stand as well and he took our idea and made a very cool piece of art. He shared renderings. We talked about it. He always listened to the feedback and was awesome through the process. Highly recommend and endorse. Canâ t wait to bring in on our next project!"

We formulated our coating for siding with one goal in mind: to deliver a flawless factory finish that looks & lasts like it came off the assembly line. The ability of a paint to adhere to a surface & fight the elements depends on how well its polymer chains are linked. Our coating for siding is formulated with crosslinking technology, which boosts the entanglement of the polymer chains to create a tight microscopic bond. This is how we offer a 15 year no peel warranty. Do Not Paint your home Spray-Net it.
"Devin is extremely detailed, hard working, and reliable!"

Custom cabinets are worth the investment to transform the look of your kitchen with a design, color scheme, and aesthetic that’s unique to your home. If you’re looking for cabinets that reflect your personality but are more cost-effective, semi-custom cabinets are a great alternative that allows you to showcase your style, but with pre-made cabinets instead of fully custom. Custom cabinets also provide a 70 to 80 percent return on investment, making them a worthwhile purchase.
The cost of cabinet refacing is $7,230 on average. However, it's possible to pay between $1,200 and $16,000 for this project. Factors like the number of cabinets and the refacing materials impact the total cost significantly.
For example, plastic laminate is the most cost-effective cabinet option for refacing, costing $1,000 to $3,000. If you're looking for solid wood cabinets, you can expect to pay more, ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 on average for refacing.
The difference between cabinet refinishing vs. cabinet refacing is that the latter involves replacing most of the cabinet components, whereas the former only freshes the exterior look of the cabinetry.
Cabinet refinishing involves the cabinetry being disassembled, cleaned, and sanded, then a new finish, like paint or glaze, is applied. You can refinish the cabinet doors or go further and refinish the cabinet boxes, too.
Cabinet refacing involves replacing the majority of the cabinet materials, including the cabinet, drawer doors, and hardware. In this process, a veneer is applied over the existing cabinet boxes to make them look new.
The cost to refinish cabinets is $3,000 on average. However, this cost can range from $700 to $6,000, depending on the size and location of the cabinets, the refinishing method, and number of cabinets.
Staining your cabinet doors is the most cost-effective option, costing between $4 and $10 per square foot. However, if you choose to glaze them, that price jumps to $10 to $25 per square foot.
Custom cabinets cost between $500 and $1,200 per linear foot on average to install. Factors like materials, size, and type of cabinet doors you choose significantly affect the overall cost.
For example, a basic slab cabinet door can cost $60 to $70 for materials alone. As its name suggests, this material is a piece of wood with no unique features. However, a mullioned glass inset panel door, which features a designed glass panel, ranges from $100 to $200 for materials per cabinet door.
