"I found Pavao Building Services on HomeAdvisor after getting prices from multiple contractors that I found in the area. This was the first time I used HomeAdvisor. I am a VERY skeptical person and always assumed that the reviews left on these types of sites were made up. I actually live in Florida and needed work done on my home in Massachusetts after a pipe burst during the winter. It was luckily covered under my insurance but I still needed to find a local contractor to do the work. Because I moved out of the area 19 years ago, I did not know anyone that was still in business that I could trust to do the quality work i needed done at a price that was fair and honest. Again, after getting multiple prices from local contractors that seemed unreasonable from contractors that I didn't know, I finally decided to use Homeadvisor. I met Walter the same day that I started the search on the website. He called me and arranged to meet later that same day. I got a very good feeling from him after meeting him. He encouraged me to read his reviews on Homeadvisor and after reading those reviews I decided to give him the job. I also met with 2 other contractors from Homeadvisor but Walter seemed to be honest and fair and I am SOOOO happy that I decided to give him this large scale job. I gave him access to my home and he would send me pictures daily (1400 miles away) of the work that he was doing. I came back to Massachusetts to see for myself the quality of work that he and his crew were doing near the end of the job and I could not be happier! I trusted this man and his crew in my home for weeks to finish this large scale job. He never failed to show up when he said he would. He didn't charge me a nickel more than the quoted, fair price, and his work was fantastic. I immediately hired him for 2 other jobs for rental property that i own in the area. If you are at all skeptical as I was about hiring a contractor, I can ASSURE you that this man and his crew are honest, trustworthy, fair and the quality of their work is fantastic! Do not hesitate to hire this man ( but please allow him to finish my jobs first )!!!"

"Luke came and did a scope of our property, measurements, and gave us different options for a fence. We weren't ready at that very moment so he sent updated quotes weekly to keep us posted on the fluctuations in price. Finally we were ready and Luke fit us right in and moved us up when there was a cancellation. Unfortunately we were not aware that our house was built on a very hard mineral stone making the job a whole lot harder than the norm. But Luke did not give up! He kept us posted on his progress and any delays we would come up against. The finished product, as challenging as it was to complete, was BEAUTIFUL!! Our fence is made with quality wood and is amazing. I would definitely re-hire & refer R&L for future projects! Thanks so much for a beautiful fence!"

"My husband and I hired Charles Smith from Smith Restorations & Repair to get some work done (inside and out) over 3 months from Feb - April of 2018. In total, Smith Restorations handled repairs to our tree house, built a new deck, which included some stone patio work, installed floors for our entire first floor, updated our 1/2 bath and remodeled my kitchen. HE DID ALL OF THIS IN TWO MONTHS. And it all looks fantastic! We just moved into our new home in August and spent some time thinking about what we wanted and Charles Smith was the perfect person to put our plan in place. Let me share why we hired Smith Restorations and why we continued to hire them. 1) Smith listens to what you want and gives you what you need, making every attempt to combine the two. I am not a contractor and Charles had much better ideas than I did for how to rearrange the kitchen. We went from thinking we had to move electrical panels and walls to a much simpler design which he believed would achieve the same end. It did. His ideas saved us tons of money. 2) He was the only person who came out and gave a care about our tree house. It was dangerous, needed to be dealt with and two other contractors came and stuck up their noses. 3) We were given options, some of which included sketches. There is more than one way to do things and he knows more than one way. Great good, better, best scenarios. 4) Smith allowed us to use our resources when we had them (I had a good electrician friend) and he did not look to mark-up workers that he brought in to drive up the price. 5) Smith cleans up and hauls away mess. Every day. Enough said. 6) Cost effective. Straightforward in materials and labor costs. 7) Smith Restorations went above and beyond for us and we just kept coming up with projects. Specific to the kitchen, it was small and cramped due to the placement of cabinets and an oversized island that served no function. Charles worked with us to measure the space, re-imagine the area and made some great suggestions as to products to purchase like flooring and tile. I was able to purchase the cabinets myself and maintain control of the design. He checked over everything before I ordered it, allowing me to take advantage of special financing, etc. He demoed the kitchen and installed the cabinets in just a few days. He was so meticulous in getting them aligned correctly and all the appliances moved with the plumbing into the right space. If we were up against a deadline for countertops, he would stay until it was done. The luxury vinyl floors that he recommended and installed have exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is truly transformed into the farmhouse kitchen we wanted and we could not be happier with the partnership we had with Charles to get this all done on time and on budget. We have many more projects to save up and budget for. We had a great experience. We would highly recommend Smith Restorations and repair for small or large jo"
