"Victor showed up as scheduled and cleaned the tile and grout in the kitchen and nook area as requested. It looks like new, my wife was VERY pleased with the results. You don't realize how dirty your tiles are until you see them after they've been cleaned. We opted to apply the sealant ourselves, but in hindsight should've just paid Victor to do it. "It was messy but that is to be expected when working on sheet-rock and carpentry. The work itself turned out very well. The job was to enlarge two closets, repair wood and sheet-rock, install two large doors with mirrors, casing, and paint. Good carpentry work; we had a couple of problems but he immediately asked what we thought and did not try to cover or hide the imperfection. Mr Tolbert was willing to redo a part that was not perfect - his suggestion. That, perhaps, is the most important quality: if something is not right, he will tell you, discuss ways to improve, and redo if necessary. He brought a helper to paint two rooms and the helper too was very professional. I would definitely hire him again to do carpentry, painting and other handyman work. My only 4 star instead of 5 was because it took him a while to get back to me with an estimate and a possible start day - that could be because he is overwhelmed with work. We had expected 4 days of work: 1 per closet, and 1 per painted room. He finished in 3 days (once he got a helper it went faster)."

"This service was exactly what I was looking for.  I wasn't confident about choosing the new look for my living room.  I wasn't sure what my "style" was, and what would look good together.  I needed a consultant to let me know if the items I was considering would look good together.  Amanda called me and we talked about what I liked/didnt like.  She had me post pictures from Pinterest and Houzz of rooms I liked.  From that she was able to tell me what my style was.  She noticed things I never realized before.  For example I apparently picked the exact style couch in every picture I posted.  As I found furniture I liked I would send her photos and she would let me know if she thought they would go good together.  For example she recomended a different coffee table - i needed one that was more substantial to balance the size of the sofa.  She also helped me fine-tune the paint colors for my walls - I thought this was the hardest part of designing the room, but I love the results. 
I was basically looking for someone to guide my choices, but they will also modify their level of service depending on what you need (cost varies depending on service needed).
