- Martin's Outdoor EnvironmentsJohn Martin and his crew from Martin's Outdoor Environments just completed their second major job at our home. Our satisfaction with the first job made us feel very comfortable with retaining John's company a second time and we were not disappointed. The first job was completed last summer and involved the installation of nine pallets of TifGrand Bermuda grass sod plus about 5,000 sq ft of hydroseeding. My wife and I were very pleased with both the skill and work ethic of John and his crew and the esthetics of the installation. So when we recently decided to expand the in-ground sprinkler system and address a drainage problem in the side yard, John and his crew were our top choice after talking to three other contractors. This second job also involved about 600 feet of trenching which was handled personally by John to insure that there was minimal disruption of the grass and existing sprinkler lines and utilities. While John's services are not cheap, I consider his prices very fair, especially considering John's care in planning and execution along with the skill and experience of his crew. Before John and his crew departed after completing the job, he confirmed that everything had been done to my satisfaction. I feel this was more that a pro-forma inquiry; John really wanted the job to be to my satisfaction or he would make it right. Consequently, I recommend John and Martin's Outdoor Environments without reservation

"I had Mr. Howell remove my old fescue lawn that was overgrown by weeds. He got the property to bare dirt and installed an irrigation system that I can work off my phone. He then laid 15 pallets of emerald zoysia sod. It turned out amazing and everything he promised was completed. I would definitely recommend!

"I contacted Mr. Franklin for what I thought was regular maintenance. I had never had the septic pumped before and was unsure where the tank was located as there were no visible indication of the piping. Mr. Franklin poked around but could not locate the piping so he contacted the County Health Department and obtained a copy of the blue print outlining the location of the septic tank. Turns out the line was inactive and the tank did not need to be pumped. After all the trouble Mr. Franklin went through between the drive out here, the hour he spent poking around trying to find the septic tank and waiting for the county to call back, he refused to accept any money from me. He would not even accept a trip charge. In a world were honesty just doesn't seem to exist anymore, it is so good to know that there are still trustworthy businesses out there! Mr. Franklin's knowledge of what to look for toppled with the time he took just to educate me is just priceless! I wish all businesses was like Franklin Septic!
