They covered the area below the skylight and was careful about tracking dirt from the outside or roofing materials dropping down during the replacement. My skylight was 20 years old, very oversize & custom shaped, so understandably, the cost to replace was a little more than stock sizes, but I am thoroughly satisfied and happy with the results. "Excellent. Started on January 26th and expected to take 2+ days. Arrived at house at 7;30 am and began removing old shingles. New shingles and associated materials arrived by 8:00 am. On site was a Project Manager who has the GAF Factory-Certified Master Elite Roofing Certification, a Foreman and one roofing crew. The temperature was in the low 40s and around 10:00 am it began to drizzle. The Project Manager proceeded to bring in a second roofing crew to expedite the work. Under very adverse weather conditions on a very steep roof, work continued until 7:00 pm when it became too dark to safely work on the roof. By this time the new roof was approximately 98% complete. The next morning, one crew returned to complete the roof and thoroughly clean up the worksite. I found the workmanship and work ethic by everyone on site very impressive.

"After a storm damaged our roof, Pro Roofing helped us to fight our insurance company for over a year. Other companies weren't willing to get involved, but Pro Roofing has people who specialize in this sort of thing. They knew how to deal with the insurance company to get them to approve funds towards the repair and then to fight their original estimate to get us more. If you have roof work that involves dealing with an insurance company, these are the folks to use. The new roof they installed looks great. It makes the house look significantly better and well maintained. Could not recommend more."

"They were professional, they were on time, they called in advance, and they arrived on time. Their front office had touched base with me earlier in the week just to be sure that we had a firm appointment on such time. For punctuality, they were right on the money. The existing shutters that they took down had a hanging system in place that had been used since the house was built in 1999. Rather than replacing with a new hanging system, they reused the old hanging system and it ended up that one of the shutters came free. I called them back and they showed up the next week and used a different hanging system, and remounted the shutters for free. They expected an hour for 2 men, and they were probably on my property for 3 hours. My house is brick and you can't nail a shutter to the brick. If you look on the back side of the shutters, interestingly enough, I bought these from one of the big box companies and they were plastic shutters, but they had a spine that run to the left and right hand side which was similar to the shutters that were on the house originally. The bracketing mechanism that held them were 2 teeth that were mounted into the border joint. They put the new shutters up, and they landed right up, but regrettably because the mechanical grasp failed on the new shutters and we had a storm that night, we just actually took them off the house. They came back and reinstalled them with a different mechanism. The price was fine. It failed because they used the existing system, but what they did put up there worked fine when they came back. I found the $140 upfront to be a little pricey, but it depends on what the project is more than anything else. I got my giant ladder out, it is an extension ladder that's good for about 14 feet, and even standing at the very top of that ladder, I still had shutters that were 6 feet in length that I needed both hands to hold them in place, and I was on top of a 14 foot ladder, and that was why I would call them again if I will put in something that was built over my head."
