Our stock is inspected by the GA Dept. of Ag each year. While we highly respect bats and all they do for the environment, we understand that bats and humans are not meant to cohabit the same building or home. Bats do eat 1000′s of mosquitoes each night, but in your home they bring the risk of rabies, Histoplasmosis, Property Damage, and Bat Bugs (often mistaken for bed bugs). In a commercial setting, you can add liability, loss of customers, and depreciation. We remove live bats from all types of commercial and residential buildings. We do not harm the bats – we perform an “exclusion” followed by a “bat proofing”. When needed we also perform Histoplasmosis remediation and guano clean up. Our bat removal service is nationwide and we offer quick response. Most bats are legally protected and some, such as the Indiana Bat and the Gray Bat, are classified as endangered species by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We comply with all state and federal laws and guidelines such as: Wildlife Nuisance Permits where necessary Full Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance OSHA Safety Protocols Strictly Followed Current Rabies Shots for all Personnel working with bats

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Woodpeckers may seek out homes with aluminum siding or tin roofs because these surfaces echo their drumming. Homes with wood siding are more frequently targeted as roosting areas or for food sources. If you have insects living in the exposed wood in your home, the birds are likely looking for a snack, in which case your best option is to hire an exterminator.

There are several ways to get rid of fleas in your yard without harming your pet. One option is to use a flea control treatment (such as a spray or bomb) that’s safe for pets. If you’re unsure whether a certain product is pet-friendly, check the label or ask a pest removal pro. Alternatively, you can apply beneficial nematodes—which won’t affect pets or people—to your lawn.

Several bugs can look like ticks but aren’t, including beetles, bed bugs, spider beetles, and weevils. Aside from different types of beetles, the most common confusion is between ticks versus bed bugs. In any case, since a tick is an eight-legged arachnid, you can quickly differentiate by the number of legs, as all insects have six legs.

Keeping birds away from a porch can involve a combination of strategies. Start with cleaning your porch. Remove food, debris, and plants that may be attracting feathered friends. Afterward, install physical deterrents like netting or spikes. Next, top off your porch with a decoy or two—and owl or hawk works. When wondering how to keep birds off the porch, it is always best to use humane efforts that won't harm winged creatures or the environment.

Unlike for rats and mice, poisonous baits and fumigants aren’t a legal option for dealing with squirrel invasions. So, don’t set any traps up using standard rodenticides. Remember that you typically need a permit for trapping and relocating squirrels found on your property. Some states even specify the types of traps you need to use.
