The Handy Duo also walked us through exactly what they would have to do to bring the decks up to code. The Handy Duo took every effort to preserve what they could to help us in our bind and ensure we were comfortable and confident in their ability to do the job effectively and efficiently. The Handy Duo under promised and truly over delivered in quality, communication, and timing. We will definitely be hiring them again for other jobs."

"Luke was extremely professional on the phone and always kept me in the loop on what was going on. His painter on site (Marvin) did an excellent job and always took time to show me the progress whenever I stopped by. I would hire them again in a heart beat!"

"I worked easilty with my contact in planning and setting up the construction of a new shed in my backyard. The project was a little complicated and included demolishing an old existing structure and building a new shed on top of that foundation. I am happy with the finished product and feel it was a good value. But, issues with the contractor arose after the building was finished. It took several phone calls, emails and even texts for them to come back and clean up the property, including removing the debris from the old structure, leftover lumbar and trash. It was six weeks before they came back and cleaned up. I feel they really dropped the ball at the end.

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.

"She was fine. We were working long distance and communication took place via phone and email. I would not ever hire someone long distance again for design work unless I see something on their website that is exactly what I like. She was very responsive though and she provided us with pictures of sample furniture and physical designs. I gave her a 'B' because she didn’t take a lot of time to customize the plan to our style. I expected her to adapt to our style, but instead she tried to make our living room fit her style. She seems to have a look that is her style and we actually asked her re-do the plan a few times before we got something usable. In the end, she is very good at what she does and she is very professional, but her design style doesn’t fit our way of living."

"They didn't end up doing the work. They were really high on what they wanted to do. Other people who looked at the porch said that it was not causing an issue with any water intrusion and that there doesn't seem to be any signs on the posts that this could have been recent, it could have been long ago. So no work was done. It was a front porch that had just the level concrete on one side was dipping just a little bit. I think they were going to pump it up from underneath or something like that to level it out. I would say that their response time and their professionalism of getting the quote to us on a timely manner was good. The quote was high and yet the work was not necessary according to other quotes. They should be honest to say when repairs are necessary and when they are not. The guy who showed up was nice and professional and was on time. There was a decent response time."

"I live in a rental property, and this is who they sent to my house when it flooded. They not only addressed the flood VERY quick, but were in and out and very nice. They even scheduled all their follow-up after hours so I would not have to miss work for this. I am not sure the cost as I rent and do not pay maintenance here, but I would recommend them to anyone who asks due to their professionalism and the quality of work they did was amazing!
