"Abel and his crew did a Fall cleanup of my front and back yard yesterday. They were thorough and paid attention to my requests with regard to trimming. Their pricing was competitive, but reasonable for the work being done. I canâ t wait for them to come back and maintain the lawn every two weeks! Iâ m so glad I found Santos Landscaping!"

"He was much cheaper than the other options and did a better job than some people I've used previously. I would recommend him to anybody. He really could charge more than he does because he is great at what he does."

"I recently hired Copeland Land & Livestock Services to clean up several piles of brush and do some brush hogging on my property, and they did an outstanding job. They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and left the property looking much better than I expected. The brush piles were completely cleaned up, and the brush hogging was done thoroughly with great attention to detail. The crew was professional, courteous, and clearly takes pride in their work. If you’re looking for reliable land clearing, brush cleanup, or property maintenance services, I highly recommend Copeland Land & Livestock Services. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"service was great and so was the price. contractor who did the work was very pleasant and professional. the only thing is he accidently cut down my baby lilac bush. it was just in the twig stage with about 20 leaves on it so it might have looked like a weed. otherwise, this contractor was fast and clean. would love to have him back. :)"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.

You may see specialty products for sale to remove lead dust, such as D-Lead surface wipes. But you do not need to buy a special cleaner just for lead dust. A regular all-purpose cleaner, like 409 or something similar, is sufficient for cleanup. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's directions when using it and to dilute with water.

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.
